Having all the 'Walking with...' series, I was interested in this movie. The visual graphics are stunning, as usual, I was not disappointed! I was a bit concerned about the reviews stating that a younger age group was targeted with this movie. Since I picked this up on sale, I still liked it but have to agree that this would be enjoyed better by a much younger person. I would definitely recommend this to someone with children.

I have a six year old that loves dinosaurs and he was very entertained . It's one of his favorite movies and it really sparked his imagination. It is a little dark at times, but I think it helped him grasp the true nature of the time and it didn't give him nightmares. I would recommend this to any parent whose child shows an interest in dinosaurs as the plot is easy to follow and engages the child much like the children in the movie.

My kid is big time into dinosaurs and when this came out in the theaters, he wanted to see it. In fairness its a decent kids movie but sometimes a tad too violent for the little ones. I like the voice actors , but it seems like the way they portray the characters are a bit off, then again its originally a british film so when dubbed in the US it may be a bit off. All in all a decent family film with some good values in it.

Bought this for my 6 year old daughter after she saw it at a friends house. She couldn't stop talking about the movie so we went to Best Buy and bought it the next day. Since I get to watch all the movies that my daughter does, I have to admit that I enjoyed this movie. The plot is pretty good and the animation is great. We bought the bluray version and it definitely looks great on my big screen LCD television.

My wife and I don't have kids but we do have a pretty awesome home theater with 108" screen, 7.2 channel surround sound and 1080p 3D. Because of this we want to build our 3D collection as much as possible and occasionally invite friends with children over for movies occasionally. Walking With Dinosaurs may not be a masterpiece but it was fun and appropriate for children.

This was a really good movie for adults and children. I was very surprised! It was good to see the life of a dinosaur from day to day. Everyone was glued to the TV. Good animation, beautiful scenery and the 3d was pretty good. Hopefully, the producers will make more movies like this! Kids love dinosaurs! Adults love dinosaurs TOO! Great movie!

While the story and plot are pretty simple and predictable, there is enough here to enjoy. Kids will love getting to learn about some of the lesser known species of dinosaurs. There is a wholesome story about family and growing up at the center that will appeal to most people.

The dinosaurs in natural settings look SOOO realistic in this dramatic look into their prehistoric lives. The story telling is from the dinosaurs' prospective and not the usual fact filled presentation. The animals do not talk, but the narrative portrays their individual thoughts. Very good story telling! The 3d is flawless and adds much to the realism. Highly recommended.

My son is currently interested in dinosaurs and has progressed beyond the often cartoonish version in kids movies. This movie provides a very realistic version of dinosaurs. It may be too much of kids 6 and under.

My son loves this movie, and I enjoy that fact that he does. I actually think this one is a bit underrated overall, as the animation is pretty solid, and the story is more interesting than Ice Age frankly. If your kid likes dinosaurs in any capacity, they going to love this.

To be fair, WALKING WITH DINOSAURS is not the best film. It's primarily aimed at kids, filled with Sesame Street-style "teaching" moments and cheesy lowbrow humor. But the 3D is stunning, and worth owning for that reason alone. Beautiful depth, fun pop outs, and incredible animated texturing and vistas. Support 3D blu ray and pick this up for your kids!

My granddaughter loves dinosaurs and loves watching this. It’s hard to find a dinosaur movie that isn’t too complicated or too scary for a three-year-old. She asks for this every day, and says the baby dinosaur is “just her size.”

We got this for our son who is 4 years old and loves Dinosaurs but because it is a little more real and less cartoonish, he does get scared sometimes on the aggressiveness of the dinosaurs. But he still watches it so good movie for young dinosaur lovers.

My 2.5 year old daughter loves this movie. We have watched it over and over.....and over. It's great because it actually stops to give the correct pronunciation of the dinosaurs as they appear in the movie. The only downside is she picked up the phrase "p**p shower".....oh well it could be worse. If your little one loves dinosaurs get them this movie!

A cute story about perseverance. How you can make something of yourself even if you are the smallest..the weakest..the least feared. Our main character (a dinosaur) rises above everyone else to eventually lead his tribe of dino`s (and he gets the girl)

My son loves this movie. It's really hard to find a dinosaur movie that doesn't have blood and guts in it for a 3 year old. This movie doesn't have any blood. There is not much plot and is a little slow but my son doesn't notice.

I bought this mostly to entertain my grandkids and it did the job! The movie is just sufficiently scary enough to keep them interested, but not so scary as to make them cry. They really enjoyed it.

Bought this to help entertain the grandkids as the day of activity turns into an early evening of dinner and then a movie. This animated movie is really great and the boys love it. I know they enjoy it because they have watched it several times and still ask to see it again (get my moneys worth, especially at the sale price at Best Buy).

If your are a fan of "The Land Before Time" series, this will be a great film for you to watch. The only nitpick is the title, since there was a fantastic documentary series many years ago called "Walking with Dinosaurs." The title plus a cover image that looks like one pulled from that documentary might make some overlook this film.

My kids bought this movie and I didn't expect much since it is based on video games but oh boy! The effects and the crazy characters are very well made....I'll definitely watch it again.
