Called Best Buy to get a price match and they honored it. Works good. I don't like to use different brands other than the original bc i have had some bad experiences with it, but that is my personal choice. Works good, doesn't slow down the water dispenser, and there isn't any unpleasant taste.

I would have liked more info on the installation procedure. The water filter from my previous refrigerator required that the first two gallons of water be discarded after installation but there was no similar disclaimer for this one so I just used the previous fridge’s instructions as a precaution. If that isn’t necessary I would like to have seen a statement like “after installation it’s immediately ready for use” or “no need to flush before use”.

This LG Water filter really does the job, the water is clean no taste or odor. Will recommend to everyone

I had to purchase a water filter for my LG Refrigerator/Freezer. I was able to enroll in an automatic renewal plan that will send out a new filter every 6 months. This will save me money and time as it will be sent out without having to order it.

The filter is as advertised and a quality LG product. It was nice to get it for a better price and even more of a discount when signing up for the automatic order renewal. Now I don't have to remember to order these every 6 months and I get a discount while I'm at it.

Only filter available for my refrigerator. Works well but needs to be changed too often.

You really don't have much choice when it comes to buying a particular water filter for your LG refrigerator. The best you can hope for is to catch it at a "good price"; that is anything less than the $50 suggested retail price of the manufacturer. Amen.

I did not expect this filter to really make a big difference in the taste of my tap water but for the first time in more than 15 years, I am comfortable drinking tap water. My tap water now taste like bottled water A really great product

This is the filter I purchased to replace in my LG fridge. These filters are great! The Kenmore fridge we had (made by Whirlpool) required filter changes every 2 and 1/2 to 3 months due to abundant water consumption. These last us right at 6 months and the "taste" of filtered water only changes at the very end of the filter life, within a week or so of required replacement. Also the water pressure stays constant even till the end. Very happy with this filter, and while subjective due to refrigerator model, etc., you will be too.
