With games growing larger in size this was definitely needed. Was able to download all of my digital games and still have room for more in the future. Runs well, no lag. Easy transfers.

Easy to manage and install, especially if you have worked with consoles and computers before. Basically a must have due to the current game sizes and the usage of space required. ( should be part of the console, but its not, its an add on $$ ).

Lots of storage and does the job. I use it for backups and it works great. For a spinner drive it is plenty fast for what I use it for. It also comes formatted NTFS.

Good speed and very good for the price, they give you free game pass trial too.

Has a lot of space and easy to use but games need to be moved from external storage to Xbox storage in order to play it sometimes.

I bought this 3 days ago. Was very simple plug n play installation. It only has 4.5TB actually available for storage. I transferred 4games from the internal hard drive. It was very fast in this action. I'm planning on buying another one soon to have a total of 9.5TB of storage. Much cheaper than the Seagate. But 8 have had a 5TB Seagate for over 5 years with no problems, for my previous Xbox one X.

Needed an extended storage, works with series x and fast downloads, good price when bought. Not best to be played from but just needed the storage. The game pass didnt work though only for new customers when tried to redeem.

Great hard drive. Have always had good products from WD. Needed more room on my Xbox and this definitely made the difference. Not able to store the newest games on this drive as they require a faster reading speed than this offers but it reads great for my extensive collection of older games with no lag.

5tb is more than enough space. Xbox series X has a fast SSD but there's nothing like huge storage for the rest of the games. Also you can download it locally on to the external drive and then copy it over to the ssd4 a series X enhanced games. It's just worth it in a good addition for plenty of space for plenty of games. Definitely would buy again!
