I decieded to try an ssd drive for my upgraded pc. I've read about how fast they were so I got one. It is so much faster then my old hard drive, wish I would have gotten one sooner. It really improves the overall performance, faster boot up times , and programs opening up quicker. I highly recommend this drive, you wont be disappointed !!

As a Gen-3 drive, this will be compatible with the upcoming Directstorage API on windows for gaming - bringing the tech on the new consoles to PC. Although it's 'half' the speed of a Gen 4 drive - I doubt I would notice the difference in real world performance as of writing. It's very fast, although it gets a tad toasty under load if you don't get a spreader.

Super fast and cheaper than a SATA SSD which is insance it legit 10 times faster. I SATA 2.5" SSD was fast enough for me ,but I needed a larger SSD adn this was better and cheaper. You will notice that your file transfers are no longer bottled necked. However, this will not speed up your boot time compared to a 2.5" sata SSD do not buy it for that.

Great SSD Great price. Easy to install in my PS5 but you still need a Heat Sync but worth it I was able to move 4 PS5 games in minutes. I was also able to play them without moving the back to my PS5. Awesome.

Not many reviews on this product so I thought I'd make one. The NVMe arrived with no issues and I was able to install my operating system on it without any issues. I didn't notice any differences in reading/writing compared to the Samsung 970s I've used before. This is a great option at a cheaper price and I'd likely buy it again.

Bought as a scratch drive for editing video. Also would work well as a game or highly used storage drive. I would look into PCIE 4.0 if your system can use it for boot / OS drive. For my needs it is perfect and I no longer have delays when scrubbing in 4k video coming from a SATA III SSD. SN750 seems to be the current sweet spot for performance vs cost. I would rate it only slightly below the Samsung Evo line. With a WD proprietary triple core controller and built in SLC cache it will perform consistently even when full or having constant sustain writes. I like knowing the performance is constant instead of being under ideal situations as most competitors advertise. It is single sided which could be a positive to laptop users. The total write endurance is 600TB which seems a little low to me coming from enterprise gear but I figure if I ever wear this out bigger and better should be available for a nominal price. For most people I do not expect this would ever be an issue. I would recommend this to gamers / parents / friends in a heartbeat. Western Digital has always been good to me when I needed to RMA older spindle drives so I expect the same service here.

Fast and reliable, works great in my gaming PC. I added this as a second NVMe drive and it works as expected. I've used WD products for a long time so I expect long life and good performance from this drive. It does not include a heat sink so you may need to add one, depending on your installation.

First time going with WD Black product. It had good reviews elsewhere, so I tried it. Usually I’ll go with the standard, Samsung, or WD blue or Sandisk. I gotta say, it’s a good, fast drive. Pretty comparable to the Samsung. And it was at a lower price. So move over Samsung. You’ve got competition.

I am extremely pleased with how well this drive performs in my HP Pavilion x360 laptop. I swapped it to replace the 250GB drive that came installed. I now have all the room I need to convert my vinyl and video tapes into digital format. The drive performs as fast as the original - the only difference is the roomy space I now have.

Very fast! Wishing I would have gone with 2 TB just for the future-proofing, but of course you go up in price as much as you do storage. Using this as a boot drive on my daily driver I have had no issues in the last year, and easy install too if you are familiar with NVMe.
