I bought this 2TB internal storage for my son’s PlayStation 5. It was a very easy install, under ten minutes. The PlayStation seems to run a little faster. He is very happy with it.

This SSD is the Ultimate necessity for your PlayStation 5. The main onboard system does Not have enough storage to satisfy your casual gaming needs, ESPECIALLY if you play Call of Duty which is pretty much the only game you can carry with the main drive. The price was very reasonable and highly recommend this product.

I got this 2tb since it was a great deal for black Friday and my internal storage for the ps5 was getting low . This allowed me to transfer my game storage over and allowed me to play ps5 game directly without having to copy it back and forth . Just dont expect the read speed to be at 7300 since it says up to 7300 but it was fast using it . Transferred a significant amount of games from the hard drive over and it was extremely fast. Very easy install

This was well worth the money to add more storage to your PS5. Added to that it was user friendly to install. I will say buying it from BEST BUY may be your best bet to assure safe and accurate delivery. Getting it anywhere else (like from a third party distributor on Amazon) may be a bigger risk of not getting to not getting what was requested. The entire transaction from start to finish was more than satisfactory here.

This is such an awesome product! It gives you a lot more memory and it is made specifically for the PlayStation. They even have a 4TB SSD! Definitely worth buying if you need that extra storage so you don’t have to keep deleting and reinstalling games you want to play because from what I’ve heard and read that is not good for your system. I have over 20 games on just my WD_BLACK SN850P and still have room for plenty more.

I’ve been meaning to get one of these ever since the PS5 launched in 2020. All I can really say or should say is I wish I did it earlier. Having the extra space in my console gives me the confidence to download as many games I want without worrying about playing tetris with my storage. If you have the money to spare, 1000% pull the trigger on this.
