Decided to add more storage to my desktop, and upgrade from and SSD boot drive to an NVME boot drive. I noticed immediately the increase in my boot and load times. My desktop now has 7tb of storage (2tb NVME(aka this item), 2tb SSD, and 3tb HDD (that was in my first PC)). Both this and the Samsung 990 Pro are fantadtic NVMEs. If you can't pick between the two, get whichever is cheaper at the time (depending on sales and what not) because both are fantastic.

I've had other manufacturers' success fail within a year but Western Digital has always been reliable for me. Bought this on sale so it was a great price for the bump to PCIE 4 speeds.

Faster than my main SSD and more space for games. Doesnt come with the m.2 screw though, luckily my prebuilt came with extra everything.

The WD - BLACK SN850X 2TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe was very easy to install, added great value to my machine for the price and works efficiently.

Its hard to believe how inexpensive this SSD is considering how fast and howuch storage you get. My read and write times are blazing fast as is my boot time.

Probably one of the best pcie 4 drives. The read and write speeds are insane. Pricing on these drives is really coming down too. Make sure to update to the latest firmware.

Worked perfectly, out of the box. Because it's bare, you can pair it with any motherboard heat sink. Performance for price is hard to beat as well.
