I bought this as a gift dor my brother whose NVME broke on him. I generally stick with WD or Samsung in my personal HD/SSD/NVMe arsenal and was able to pick this one (2Tb) up on sale. It works well, an he loved it. It got him back on track in no time.

Love this drive. Only trick was hooking up an old WD SSD to the computer so I could get the WD software to transfer cleanly off the existing Samsung. First time cloned everything, no crashes. Improved gaming experience. Staying with these over Samsung from now on.

Excellent quality from WD as always! Let’s just say it replaced a competitors SSD which died in 18 months. I should have stuck with WD from the start but won’t make that mistake again. Cloning sw worked like a charm.

Easy to install. It doesn't come with the m.2 installation screw, however, so you may need to order that separately.

Another addition to my build and just as solid as the the others.

I put 2 of these in a custom rig for video editing. When I copy a 1 GB file between them, I don't even see the Windows file transfer window open. Transfers from external sources now take minutes instead of an hour.

I can actually play some games that i’ve been meaning to play due to having very slow storage but this has turned it up a few notches!!!

I've gotten a few WD SSDs over the years and have been happy with them. Pricing is usually a bit better than Samsung, and the 990 Pro failures meant I wanted to stick to a company who has shown fewer issues. I only take off one star because they did not include the mounting hardware (standoff and screw). Make sure you have spares from your motherboard, if you aren't doing a new build.

I bought this memory expansion for my ps5 and it was worth it. I’m glad they came out with more ways to expand the memory without having to buy a new system. Most games now in days take a lot of space.

Not as fast as my corsair nvme drive but the speeds are good for the price if you catch it on sale. No issues with WD Black nvme drives, this will be my 3rd and 2nd 2tb drive.

great ssd haven't had an issue yet. great read and write speeds. will definitely buy more WD ssd in the future. from my sn850 500gb to this sn850x 2tb. I transferred and 90gb file in under a minute.

Expanding my Gaming PC storage. Can't go wrong with Western Digital. Pretty much Plug and Play. Will soon be making this my OS drive and installing a couple 4TB NVMe drives to install all games.

Very nice upgraded from western digital Sn 770 mx, decide to get a new drive for my steam library.benchmark show faster input-output,better response and more stability. Used for operating system and some other stuff.
