The one i received was a used samgsung 512 gb with someone else's copy of windows. Apparently someone purchased wd drive and switched packages then returned to store. Customer service was awesome and helped me with a slightly faster 2tb drive and saved some cash as well.

It performs well and is a trusted brand. Price isn’t bad either and I’m happy with the product. Also I got it sooner then expected which is a plus.

Along with the heat sink the WD SSD for the PS5 works as advertised and runs smoothly. Installation was also easy. When the WD SSD come down in price it will be an even better value.
