Great hard drive. Easy to use. Setup was simple and so easy a caveman could do it.

I have used other hard drive models over the years. Western Digital proves time after time, that this product is the most reliable for long term daily use. The color coding system that WD uses to identify capabilities and uses for the drive is very helpful. Red for NAS, Purple for surveillance, Blue for everyday requirements. I have experienced hard drive failures in the past. It was the competition and not a WD product.

Works as advertised, Had a 5 year old Toshiba Drive that came with my computer fail and needed a replacement and this has filled the void and worked flawlessly out of the box. Plug and play worked well but did have to get the computer to notice the drive but that is a windows thing. Very affordable and did not break the bank. Much better than replacing the whole computer.

SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE, QUITE, RUNS COOL. NEED POWER ADAPTER FOR OLDER CHASSIS.

Runs nice and quiet. Seems to run cooler than my last drive. 7200 rpm at 6 Gbps. Overall a fine drive.

I used this as a replacement drive in a Lenovo All-In-One that had an original Seagate drive. The original Seagate drive kept having disk issues, and I was tired of doing restores. I used the build in Windows tool ("Windows 7" tool, even though imaging Windows 8.1) to make a disk image from the Seagate, then copied the image to the Western Digital drive. I have had no trouble at all from the WD drive at all. Works flawlessly.
