My Mom’s computer was running slower and slower until it finally just quit. Geek Squad ran a diagnostic on it and showed a failed hard drive. They installed a new one and it’s working great!

I bought two of these to replace aging storage drives in a RAID 1 setup. They're replacing Western Digital Blacks of the same size. I can tell no performance difference, noise difference, or real world read/write difference. Everything works as it should. I've always had better luck with WD drives than any other brand, so I expect good life from these.

Need extra room? This is the hard drive for you. Its inexpensive and has all the room you need for music, movies, pictures and more. Im a DJ, so I have LOTS of music. All fits on this drive with room left for more!

You can totally rely o the brand - Western Digital. I will never buy another brand. I've tried many, as I am in the PC repair business. Believe me, this is the best.

When my Hard Drive started making noise I knew it was time to replace the drive. This drive came with a basic transfer software so that I was able to transfer everything including Windows 7. Everything worked flawless.

This is just a 1TB harddrive. Nothing more nothing less. I picked one up for $39.99 when it was on sale. From my experience WD is a reliable brand and I've never had a drive fail on me in the past.

Old hard drive failed so the upgrade to this was great for the price. Fires up the OS quick enough and opens any file super fast. Obviously not a Solid state drive, but for the price it's great.

Not much more to say, does what a hard drive should. In the past have used many WD hard drives and had a couple fail very near the warranty's end and always had a no hassle replacement sent to me by Western Digital.

Bought this 1 TB HDD to replace one that was failing. Put it in my duplicator and 4 hours later installed it into the PC. Worked as though nothing had ever been wrong! Very happy with the purchase!

Needed a new hard drive for a long time and this model was the perfect fit for my computer and saved the day. I was able to have the upgraded Windows 10 installed and everything worked perfect.

We purchased an Alienware computer for our son last christmas and wouldnt you know it a week after the warranty expired the hard drive died. The geek squad installed this one for us and its been smooth sailing ever since.

Does what a hard drive should do. Great space. However way to DAYUMN LOUD. I COULD HEAR IT OVER MY FANS, AND I HAVE *6* OF THEM.!

I had to replace a faulty Seagate hard drive and this brand was recommended by the Geek Squad Agent and he was right. It has functioned perfectly and I expect it will be reliable for as long as I have the computer.

I have always liked Western Digital drives. They always been good to me. Even the Warranties are good. There was one drive I had to RMA but they were very helpful. They gave a bigger size drive for the trouble.
