Loads a lot quicker than my old 5400rpm drive. Running great. Low noise.

Replaced a two year old failed Seagate 1TB hard drive with this Western Digital SATA drive. Continues to perform well and was easy to install. I have had good service from WD hard drives in the past. I use this drive as my primary data drive on my desktop computer. Works great.

No complaints here! Great, reliable drive. Spacious and quick.

Has a good warranty and when connected to computer Acronis (free) copied the almost failed hard drive I had so I was able to clone it. So when your computer tells you that it is getting near the end run to Best Buy and get this one. Also the HDD that was in there before was only 500 GB this one is a 1TB. Also this one has a 7,200 RPM speed. Good.

Needed more space and this drive gave me that. Is fast, dependable

I have used WD for majority of the time, except for a few time and tried other brands. For the most part at least WD never just stop working or start to get that funky knocking sound that when a hard drive starts to die on you. Some would say I just been lucky and clone a new hard drive before it started, but still I been using WD for almost 3o years and still reliable hard drive brand. I give it 5 stars, but did not want a big head for bragging.

The HDD works perfectly out of the box, just no SATA cable included, but luckily I had an extra one lying around from when I bought my motherboard. But I definitely recommend 2-4TB for someone who edits photos/videos. I almost filled mine up as soon as I transferred over some photos from my old HDD. Other than that, speed is great.

I have use WD drives for as long as I can remember and never had a problem. I can safely say that a one TB is very safe bet for archiving all files. I do a lot of audio production and is fast and reliable for all my needs. Sure there's huge drive for not much more however, it you want to play it safe, 1 TB WD drives are proven reliable.

my daughter had a hard drive with low RPMs. 250 g I bought this hard drive on sale was an excellent price . went to my daughter's house and installed it she thought she had a new computer the 7200 RPM hard drive and a terabyte on top of that . she was very happy and made old Dad look good .

After reading many reviews, I went with this Western Digital hard drive to replace my 6 year old drive. Installation was extremely simple and the drive is nice and quiet. I've only had it running for a couple of months now, but I've had no issues and I'm very happy with the performance of the hard drive so far. I would definitely recommend WD drives!
