Good price. Tons of space. Easy to install. I only wish all HD's in today's day in age would be a minimum of 7200 RPM's. For cheap backup storage this works just fine though.

Installed this drive in a RAID-5 NAS environment. Drive is fast, and reliable (as I've used these drives before). Great value for capacity.

I used this as extra space on my husbands computer so my files didn't get mixed with his. It's easiky accessible from the my computer and I'm able to access it from any computer on our network. Overall great buy for the price.

It's good value for the money and It works great. The only drawback is you can't install windows on it and use the full capacity unless you have a special bios. I think they should tell people that before they buy it.

I use the drive to store videos. Although you can buy drives with faster speeds, it is unnecessary for my purposes. Never had any issues with these types of drives.

Using it as my ps4 hdd upgrade. With nyko's conversion kit. Works splendid. Its been months and its still solid. Recommended to a friend who went through with my word of mouth and is very happy as well.

This drive is used for storage on a new gaming rig. It works well and at a good price. The PC found the drive on boot and has been doing its job since... no complaints so far...

got this as one of the drives on the server was going bad, have had a great experience with the longevity and robustness of WD drives so went for this over the seagate that were in the server already

I use this to transfer and process video data from my DVR. I'm moving files that are 2-6GB in size, and running conversion and compression software. It's much faster than the prior drive I was using.

I love WD Hard drives. I currently have over 15 ranging from 2TB-3. I use 5 2TB WD Caviar Greens (replaced by this new model) in RAID 5 for my TV Shows, and I use 3 of these 4TB WDs in RAID 5 for Movies & Music. If you're going to buy an internal hard drive for your PC, buy Western Digital. If you want it for peak performance, get an SSD (install your OS and software on it). For storage, like multimedia or documents, nothing beats WD, especially in RAID.

Drive installed easily. The free Acronis cloning software is very easy to use and did I say it free. However, I forgot about the 2 terabytes limit for Win 7. Oops. My fault. I partitioned it to 2 T and will repartition when I move to win 10 later.

Drive is performing great as my main almost 3TB C: drive (some space had to be taken from total for special Windows partitions).

Big drive-- just make sure that your motherboard and windows version can format a drive over 2 tb or you will have to make 2 partitions. Works as expected no issues.

I got this hard drive as a back up drive when it was on sale. Great price.. This is an excellent drive. This is silent drive and 3TB is good enough space. Would buy again.

Added to my Dell desktop to store those huge all computer backups that always seem to fill a hard drive in a month, no matter it's size. Simple install if you have the cables, and works fine. You will most likely need to buy a data cable to install it as it is not included and necessary. Had to make two trips to Best Buy, one for the hard drive and then again for the data cable, (about $11.00 for it). \ Only four stars due to the missing data cable and three stars to Best Buy computer clerk for not recommending I buy it!

Using these in DVR systems. They work great for this purpose. Haven't had one fail yet. Plenty of Seagate drives die but these keep on ticking.

great hard drive got it on sale so it was a good buy pretty fast hard drive great for my needs stored around 1 terabyte videos and photos not a single problem.

Easy installation, incredible storage space reliable

I bought a new alienware computer and needed more storage space and this fit the bill and has worked with out any hickups.
