This is a great hard drive,I'm currently running 2 of these on my computer,haven't had any problems whatsoever,it runs pretty quiet and you get a nice performance out of it,if you're looking for speed and performance you can go wrong with this one.

I bought this hard drive to replace a failing hard drive in my computer. It was easy to install and I got it for a good price. So far, it has performed well and I expect it to last.

Simple installation, fast, quiet, great value! Installed in a 6 year old Win XP machine. I didn't use the included installation disk. Basically just plug & Play. I have great luck with WD drives.

Needed a replacement drive for a failing Seagate 500 GB that was approx. 1 1/2 years old. I have always had better luck with WD drives compared to other brands. Found this at Best Buy for a great price. Installed and the PC has been running great with it since. Also installed WD drive tools and ran initial tests on the drive to verify there were no issues. Would purchase again.

My hard drive was quickly becoming unstable and I needed to replace and clone as soon as possible. I looked on the Best Buy shelves for my best option and this WD was my best option. For the price point, it came with downloadable software for the cloning process while other options at the same price point required purchase of the cloning software. The replacement was simple and I have had no problems for the month it has been residing in my computer.

Western Digital is the top dog in hard drives. This is a "mainstream" drive, meaning that it is intended for the home or small office desktop computer. WD drives tend to be long lasting and good performers. installation is very simple.

My computer at work crashed and I needed a quick replacement. Best Buy had this product in stock for a good price. Install went smoothly and the computer is up and running. PSA: Always back up your data. Fortunately, I did.

Using Western Digital 500GB (and 1TB) drives for years. Have not experienced problems. SATA connector and power cable adapter (if needed) are not included so please make sure you have them available or purchase.

It's a hard-drive. It works. Random access memory which is compatable with a 10 year Dell. Price was reasonable. A larger capacity would have been wasted as the ancient BIOS wouldn't recognize anything larger. What else to say?

Bought this to upgrade an older pc, installed without issue. I have always had good luck with Western Digital products, wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Good speed, good size, right price. Works great in a three year old HP desktop. Only bad thing is the warranty. If you need something more reliable, go with WD Black.

WD drives are simply the best value, performance and warranty on the planet. Being a computer shop owner I would never put any other drives into any of my customers units. Easily the most durable home and business class drives out there. Need more performance and a 5 year warranty, upgrade to a WD Black Edition.

The included imaging and installation software (download and install, but free when used with the WD disk) worked very well to easily and quickly transfer all the old data to the new disk and set it up to boot. I wish I knew that it could migrate from smaller partitions to larger, or I would have bought the bigger disk for almost the same amount of money. I just bought an identical one, as we weren't short on space. The only issue was to make sure you have an extra power and data cable to do the transfer. I had to go scrounging to find one, as the PC I was installing it in did not have any extras.

I have used Western Digital drives for many years with almost no failures. The drive that did fail was replaced promptly by WD and is still working great today. Overall the quality vs. price can't be beat. These drives are very inexpensive and will deliver excellent service for years.

I bought this to replace a HDD that died in an employees PC. The price was good for the capacity. It's a hard drive, it's as fast as any other hard drive in the price range, and it works. What else is there to say about a hard drive, really?

I've used many Western Digital hard drives as replacements for OEM drives that have worn out. It's been my personal experience that they're of the highest quality manufacture, deliver some of the best performance and most reliability.

I had to replace a drive that was starting to fail. I picked up this drive and imaged my original drive using the software included. Everything went smoothly. I then wrote a complaint to Best Buy regarding price and poor in-store service. Several days later Best Buy applied a partial credit to my charge card. I will continue to do business at Best Buy. This drive is quite and meets expectations.
