I use for media center storage I have 565 High quality Movies 4k and1080p 1125 TV episodes 159 Music videos 22 GB Music I also use it to store documents programs pdf files programs full copy installed and have only used 4Tb of the hard drive

This was heaven-sent, I took three old drives and ported over all the data to one. I was able to duplicate the information and still have 6TB left to fill with more photos. One day they will have an affordable 10TB solid-state drive...

I purchased this a month ago and so far, so good. It was easy to set-up for a MacBook Pro and it has been working fine on a daily basis (video editing work on Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro). Aesthetics aren't as important as functionality, but this drive has a chic look.

Good storage capacity fast and takes up little space

Got 2 of these to replace a filling 8TB and a half full 6TB. Was a little nervous considering I had never seen a 10TB external as a single external disk, but so far so good. One is hooked up to my main computer, while the other say hooked up to a little 24/7 home file server I built. Bot are performing admirably.

This 10 TB external drive is a "BEAST" so that's what I labeled it when I installed it. Got the usual bells and whistles for backup storage but can't beat the capacity for the price. The speed is where it got one star knocked off but I knew it wasn't going to be SSD speeds when I bought it. All-in-all a great backup drive!

I use this exclusively for photo back-up, keeping it connected to my iMac all the time. Works well, but compared to the smaller SSD takes up more space..much less money however. My icloud connection is so slow, I have to use this type of drive.

I bought this to replace a 8TB Seagate external HD that failed on me after less than 30 days. So far, no issues at all with this WD HD. I would definitely recommend this drive to anyone looking for a larger back up drive. The price is really good and seems to be prettt stable.

I needed to back up my computer because I’m a filmmaker and this product allowed me to dump a bunch of old footage onto it with ease. Reasonable price for the amount of memory it gives and easy to use. Highly recommend for those people looking to backup large files.

We have so many hard drives from this brand. We saw a great deal for this 10TB and had to get one! It has been good they have continued to increase the amount of storage space.

I bought this to back up all my photographs. I chose western digital as I have many western digital hard drives and they have always been reliable. It was easy to set up and transfer files. Best Buy had a great price.

I have two of these. I'm a photographer, artist, and writer so I have tons of raw images, SVG files, and manuscripts that need to be kept securely and safely. This is perfect without overloading my laptops with files. Plugs right in, keep everything safe and secure, and easy to organize large amounts of files and data. I would highly recommend this to anyone, laptops crash and get viruses, this stores your important things off the computer so in the event of a crash you don't lose everything. Especially important if you are doing work for a client. What a lifesaver.

This thing was much bigger than I thought, but understandably so with the amount of storage this thing holds. Definitely worth the money, considering I'll probably have ample storage for the next umpteen years.

Amazing storage for great value. I have been buying WD products for years, and I have never been disappointed. I use them to back up videos, music, and work. This powerhouse does a great job.

Lots of storage. Useful if you have lots of files or photos that you want to archive. For working on files, I would suggest transferring first to a faster SSD and then back to HD again for achrival.

Lots of storage. It does it job well. There hasn't been any issues for failures or errors.

Love having a harddrive that is big enough to store all my video files. When dealing with 4K footage space gets used up quickly. But this will last a while.
