Easy to set up - with help

I have Sierra. I called the Geek Squad and they gave me the number to Western Digital. They answered right away and helped me reformat the hard drive to fit with Sierra. He was kind and patient with me and it was working within 10 minutes.

Excellent StorageDrive

All of the research paid off as this is turning out to be a great choice. I had a 1TB Toshiba that has been complete junk. I needed to replace it and decided to go with a WD after all of the reviews I have read. Have absolutely no regrets!

Large capacity for home use

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took a bit longer to set up than an earlier My Book model but appears to work well after set up complete. Only issue is that you have to click on "restore" just to check to make sure everything was backed up. You should be able to check without starting the restore process, in my opinion.

With USB 3.0 backup times are fast. WD included software has encryption feature. WD software installs drivers for automated backups.
