Fantastic travel buddy

Lots of memory but very slow

However, the transfer speed even with a directly plugged in SD card can be taxing. You end up having to transfer the data to a hard wired drive in order to edit video and pictures. As a safer way to store data while on the go, the drive works fine. Just make sure to set aside time for the download.

Great to back up photos while on travel

It creates a wifi to which you connect to access it, after that you can see the content. After you are connected you can connect to the internet if you want to back up content to a remote drive which is an extra safety measure. The SD slot can be programmed to automatically import photos and the option to delete them once imported. Battery says last for 6 hours but can't talk about it as I only turned it on to back up.

Is ok but not great

All the folders look alike so you don't know where you are and how to organize your media. My most frustration feature is how to save to phone if I have media on the drive. It only lets me play it but not download it to the phone internal memory. That sucks.

Could Not Get It To Work With My Macbook

I returned the device to Best Buy (hassle free I might add) and exchanged it for a Seagate drive that is designed for a Mac computer. Set-up was quick and simple to connect, but it's not wireless.
