This WD My Passport 2TB is exactly what I needed for extra storage and backups. It’s small, lightweight, and super easy to set up — just plug it in and it’s ready to use. Bought this for my desktop and it is small, easy to move around, and responsive. I velcrowed it to the side of my desktop because it's slim and easy to keep out of the way. Would recommend. No need for a prior setup for it.

Having had another remote back up hard drive that took a dump and decided to die on me; after I drilled a few holes in it to insure it's good and dead, I replaced it with the My Passport 2 TB. I'm hoping I won't fill up the 2 TB in my and my wife's lives.

I used this for my PS4 and if you've got a PS4, well you know you can run out of storage pretty quickly. This saved me from having to delete and reinstall games. I wouldn't recommend running the game off of this necessarily, but it's nice to be able to pack away some titles on your backlog with the option to easily move them over when necessary. 2 TB goes a loooong way.

I expect this brand to hold up and perform well but this one is just ok. It performs as expected for the most part but it sometimes does not show up in my list of plugged in devices. Last time a drive behaved this way, it failed. I hope this is a fluke because I'd hate to lose all this work saved onto this drive. I love how small it is. It's also light weight. That's a bonis

This is truly one of the easiest external hard drives that are available. I have purchased several of them over the years! This particular one was purchased so that I could transfer a large amount of files to her computer. I love the size... or rather the LACK of size... very portable. Worked as outlined! Worked flawlessly!

Perfect to backup all your photos or material from your computer. Just connect USB and import. Couldn’t be any easier of product to use and the physical size and shape is great for ringing anywhere

I have been looking for a external hard drive for a while because I wanted to take my time reading reviews in search of the best hard drive. Hi I am using this hard drive for my PlayStation 4. This hard drive does exactly as I needed it to do. I ordered this hard drive online and picked up in the store. I did curbside pickup and the process went smoothly.

Amazing quality! Very fast transfer speeds, load times, tons of space/price, and so quiet. Not a huge block either, very easy to store without being a hassle! Great for traveling as well!!!

For me, this has been a good purchase. It was easy to set up. There were no issues backing up my computer. Its compact size is very convenient - not taking up space. It's probably the size of a men's wallet
