Easy to use and set up. Freed up a ton of space on my laptop

Use this to back up video and editing files as well as photos. Has been easy to use and reliable so far.

Durable even for me and plenty space, it's worked well so far with my Mac and I'd definitely get another one when I eventually run out of space.

I've had several and after my husband bought this model and experienced no problems I purchased. Good choice.

This thing is so fast when you just plug and play from my laptop. Very happy and would recommend.

This product has a perfect size . it has the necessary speed to keep fast everything in place. Easy to install and take it with you. I can move more file from my computer that I do not need and also clean my computer and see everything organized.

Have used drive for several weeks, and so far so good. No problem connecting to my MAC, but have no instruction to connect ipad. I wish something had been included, and hope so in the future. Price was good, but better online. I wish I had looked before I leaped. None the less the product is more than satisfactory.

WORKS AS DESCRIBED AND DEPENDABLE, Bought to store my movies and pictures have 3 all work great and have other size HD by WD and none have ever failed on me .

This worked great until I had an issue with one of the computers I use at work. The hard drive crashed and I tried to recover it with this drive and time machine. The computer kept rebooting and it took my drive with it. I don’t know if this was the reboot or my frustration hooking it up and disconnecting it. Needles to say it’s gone and the info is gone. Be careful with these drives as they’re not bulletproof. Don’t let it bang around in you backpack, bag, or case. I liked the product and got another one from the manufacturer but the data was lost. I backup to my cloud connections. One from work, one to iCloud, and anywhere else this one is to preserve the data when the cloud is not available

Have used for about 3 weeks and it is very solid and fast with USB 3 connection to my MacBook Pro! Love it.

This external drive is specifically made for Apple products. I have tried Seagate and other name brand external drives and they all seem to quit recognizing files in the search bar after about 6 months of usage. On the other hand, I have been using This 3TB WD My Passport for Mac extremely heavy for approx 2 months and it is still going strong. If you own a Mac, don't waste your time and money on anything other than this Unit.

Huge capacity, speedy USB 3.0, small and sleek. What more can you ask for? These little Passport drives keep getting better, the capacity keeps getting larger, and the prices are getting cheaper per Gbyte of storage - three trends that will always keep me coming back. No compromise in quality from what I can see. Purchased this one for my son to serve as backup drive for his MacBook Pro at college.

I have multiple of these hard drives, and this one I purchased in particular failed immediately after I started using it. This is disappointing, but I am still giving the product 4 stars because I use a lot of these drives and this was the first one to die on me.

It is great . It has so much memory space . And it's easy to carry around .

This is pretty effective device resembling a black box that uses cable connectivity to transfer and store data from your electronic processing unit to its internal components. Pretty fast tho.

I use this for my MacBook because I do a lot of video editing with GoPro so instead of having to delete videos everytime I want to upload more this serves as a great storage for all my videos.

This little passport is a great tool for those wanting more storage without tearing apart their computer to put a new hard drive in. It's very simple to use. It plugs in to a USB on the side of the MacBook and then all you have to do is save the files on the hard drive instead of the computer.

I purchased this as a replacement for a much larger (footprint) external drive. The Passport is much smaller and does a great job of providing Time Machine backup for my Mac.

Great basic drive suitable for backups and file transfer. High capacity and reasonable price.
