I was looking for a seamless external hard drive for my Mac Book Pro. This one is basically plug and play. Others which I returned were not easy to integrate with the Mac.

This is a great portable hard drive - Just plug it in and go. It is fast and reliable. Great for added insurance on data.

I believe doing Computer backups is very important. These small disk drives are reasonably priced and provide a safe backup of your data and other important files.

Seamlessly worked with my new Macbook and made is so I didn't need as much internal memory because I can store much of my data on the external drive.

I liked this product for my particular uses. I actually have another one that I purchased awhile before this one. I use one for reg backing up and one to copy my hard drive to. My recommendation would be to stick to 2TB or less with any brand drive you purchase tho. They are highly problematic at larger capacities. Better to have multiple smaller ones. I plan on buying a 3rd of this model as well. I like it better than most the others I've tried over the past couple years. It is small so it doesn't take up much space on my desk and is easily transported. I'm in music production and often have to toss a drive in my bag. (A note on that: it's sturdy, but I wouldn't abuse it too much). They are nice looking and come in a variety of colors and styles. Seems they've slightly upgraded it from the first one I purchased, too, which is a bonus. If these things are important to you, this may be a good option for you to take a look at

I am always hesitant of buying these types of drives due to some stating compatible with either or both MSDOS and MAC OS products, but this one stated "For MAC" specifically - and it actually does work well with my Apple products!! I usually go to the Apple Store and see what they sell, just because I know they will only sell what does work, but I was in a hurry and took a chance on this one since Best Buy is closer and a Dell support person there recommended it. Go figure. I am using as my Time Machine drive and have had no issues with it.

This is a must have if you're taking a ton of pictures. Free up space and keep your Mac running smooth and fast. I buy these two at the time.

I was able to store all of my computer files. Everything from school, pictures, videos and other important files on this device. Works great.

This is a great product that handles music storage and has never failed me so far! If you are a DJ then I recommend this product for storage

I have this for about a month and a half now. I was looking for a small, portable backup to use with time machine on Mac laptops. I travel a lot and wanted something to travel with easily. This fits the need perfectly. I have had no problems at all. I partitioned the drive into three parts and backup up two different laptops. So far no problems.

This worked fast and cleanly and was highly recommended by professionals in the repair industry. It worked fast and was easy to use.

This hard drive works exactly as I hoped it would. Easy to use and set up was a breeze. Interfaces well with Apple time machine. Has ample storage for tons of pictures in addition to backup files. Very quick interface when used with usb3, but also works well, but slower, on my older mackbook with usb2 capability. Can't ask for more.

I picked up this hard drive to store my school work. It's easy to use and does exactly what it's intended for. Great product!

Works well as a replacement Time Machine and more compact than older models. No power cord is a nice feature. It merely needs to last longer than the two years another drive that did NOT; also a WD, hence the 4*

WD makes excellent peripheral drives, and this one is no exception. It is fast, compact, and, like the Tardis, much bigger on the inside! My own experience with WD drives has taught me this, though: don't load them up or they'll lock you out. Leave yourself some RAM room.

It's an external drive, so there is not much to review other than it works as it should. Reasonable price for the size.

Glad that I got the device with more memory to consolidate all my picture and video files. Nice to have it together!
