Upon trying to use it I realized in order to use this feature all computers would need the software loaded (per the employee at the store) so I returned it.

We have not tested the drive on mobile devices or an iPhone. Almost half the size from the previous version. Love that it is USB-C with a USB 3.0 adapter in the box. Great purchase.

The unit i have had to have an adapter which is a bad idea. Paid almost $80 plus tax, which makes it no great deal when I bought a 12 TB unit for $190 a week later there. Ok, but connector issued drops its value
