Wanted something easy to use and this can't be simpler. Small device, plug in and drag folders of data/docs, music, pics etc. for backup.

All my data from my old computer is backed up on this hard drive so I cannot ever lose any of it. Best Buy did the transfer which was included free for the price of purchase.

No matter what it does on accident or on purpose, it can do no wrong. Sure it just holds my data from my computer that melted down and left me but to me it does more than that. When it looks at me with it's little blinking lights I can tell that it's saying how much it likes being plugged in the wall and how funny that one-liner on Doctor Who was. I don't have many friends but of my friends, My Passport Ultra 500GB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive is my best friend!

It's a nice external hard drive. It's fine for the price, shop around its a hd nothing fancy about any of them.

This external hard drive is easy to use and has a large enough storage capacity to store all your pictures.
