This external drive is heavy duty love the military style shipping crate design. Makes it feel high end and tough. I’m using this to expand the storage on my Xbox one x I feel it has quicker load times then then internal hard drive most likely getting another one for my computer

Very quick transfers tons of storage that’s the 2 most options I only need and this little guy has all that ! Won’t take too long to transfer 100 gigs 3 hours tops and that’s because I used my other 3.0 external to transfer the huge game files ....I’m very pleased to say .

I needed a portable hard drive to remove an lot of movies from my laptop. This drive has enough capacity to do just that. There is no extra software on it for encryption purposes which is just fine for me. Just like a high capacity thumb drive, it was easy to move my files over onto it.

I purchased this to use as an external hard drive for a PlayStation 5. It stores all our PlayStation 4 games with room to spare, and I haven't noticed any difference in performance or load times from games installed on the internal ssd.

Good for space on a PS4, not good at being fast. I also get a few errors from time to time. Games will lock up during play or hard drive will have an error and not load anything. Never anything rebooting the PS4 would not repair or resolve. I would not play competitive games from this drive. But it is great for storage or occasional fun play. I would recommend for the size of storage and the general ease of use. Installs quickly and plays well with the PS4. You must use one of the USB ports on the front to while in use.

Sweeet setup! Very easy to use and great for the extra storage redownload time is cut in half but recently downloaded which at first I was like what’s the point but then I realized recent redownloads were still available without the redownload if that makes sense lol

Got it for secondary storage for PS5 with the new update. 4TB will last me a long time. Probably til PS6. And this thing looks so nice, doesn't even look like an external storage device. Simple plug-in and good to go. Now I can save PS5 internal SSD for actual PS5 games.

Good quality external 4 gigabyte storage dive. This is a good drive to back up data too. I have had this style of WD drive for over ten years. The price is good for a quality drive. I would use a Solid State drive to work with video of process through Photoshop. Two of these would back up most laptops. I would hold a disk-image on one and data on another. This much in SSD would almost 1000 dollars for five drives.

I use this on my PS4 as I ran out of space on my upgraded internal hard drive and the 2tb external. I have the 2tb hard drive to my kid after I picked this up. It does exactly what it's supposed to and I have had no issues with it. Super pleased with this purchase. May have to get another.

I've only had this drive for a few weeks, but so far everything is working fine. I'm using it to back up thousands of photographs, both RAW and post-processed JPG versions. It's smooth, quiet, and fast. We'll see how long it lasts - hopefully a few years.

Really, the fact that it's 4TB and it's only $129.99 at its normal price is really nice, especially for an external hard drive. Sure, the fact it isn't an SSD is a bit of a bummer, but that would just jack up the price of this drive, and really, as a mass storage unit, it works just fine. That aside, there's not much to say about it, it's good at what it does, which is be extra storage. Nice case to protect the drive, and a USB 3.2 interface for good speeds. Is 4TB overkill? To a lot of people, maybe, but really, with how much storage games are likely going to be taking up more storage soon or currently are (looking at you, Modern Warfare, with your 200GB hunger), it's definitely going to be something worth investing in. So yeah, get this thing if you can.

Bought this external drive to put my PS4 games on it to play on my PS5 and works great. No issues at all playing games from it. I've added over 30 games, and still room to add more. Highly recommended if you want to save space on your PS5 console.

The first one I bought didn't even work , made this whirring noise but went to Best Buy to exchange it with another one. This time it works. Very nice, fast and quiet. Wanted to buy a solid state one but too much money for me. This WD BLACK will do, pretty good for my Xbox One X.

This 4TB is small and compact for laptops and for people on the go. Has plenty of memory and has a unique look to set it apart.

This 4 TB external drive is fast and cost effective for backups of the most hefty desktops. We purchased a number of them to prepare for the new Windows update last month. The update, as usual, was a disaster, but our office was able to quickly recover and keep working.

Is hard drive has been working beautifully for my PS5. It doesn't get too hot it's been working great for the past 2 years

Bought this gaming drive for my PS5 to store all my PS4 digital games. Performance of the drive great. No issues so far. 4TB storage will last for a while. Excellent buy.
