Solid storage device, however, although it IS compatible with PS5 console...it does not actually have the ability to store PS5 Games on it...it does hold PS4 games which is great...but I wish I had something that could store both my older games and the new PS5 games since the console storage is limited. Will be looking into an upgrade

Great drive! Installed on my xbox one and works like a champ. Total time to prepare the drive for use was under 1 minute. Super easy and has a nice clean look. Sits nicely on top of an xbox without blocking any of the vents.

i have over 1.5 tb worth of games from steam and another 500gb from Xbox pass and origin and blizzard, when using this as a gaming only hard drive it does its job, and no drop in speed when playing the games.

Who needs 4 tb? Me!!! Works great transfers fast compared to others I have used. No problems after months of use.

I use this for nightly backups. It's a spinning drive but is reasonably fast. I got this for space and because it was like a 100 bucks for 4 TB.

Great addition to my PS5! Holds more than enough titles, and is fast to transfer games on/off the drive to my gaming system. Got it on a discount too from BB, so amazing value.

Does the job! I needed a large & reliable HD for expansion on my PS4. This HD did the job and did it well. Plug and play. no lag, and looks and feels sturdy. Nice addition to my multimedia center.

I bought this thing fo my ps4. It was easy set up. I pretty much plugged it in the usb slot on the ps4 and played games. These hard drives are so small now compared to about 8 yrs ago. I just hope it lasts.

Works great with my X Box Series X making more room for expanded memory and storage.

Easy to use. Just plug and play. No installment necessary. Best thing is I can unplig and take my games or mkvies with me. Small and compact as well. Would highly recommend if you need more space for things for your PS4

the directions were easy and clear picking th eformat was automatic and now I have much more space for the games I wish to install so I can play with out download and install exactly what it was suapposed do and does!

The Xbox one my son has was always running out of space having this external makes it so much easier to have extra room for games or expansion packs easy to instal and easy to use!!!!

The drive is fast and reliable.No issues so far. If youre looking for a external drive you cant go wrong with this one.

The extra storage is perfect for the games I play. Super convenient; I just take it with me in my laptop bag.

I bought this hard drive as a backup, not as a gaming or performance accessory. I bought it because it was the only 4TB in stock. The shelves were empty due to COVID and back-to-school. I used the drive for about a week and served its purpose. I write large video files and I even edit from the external hard drive, so performance matters. However, I didn't see a drastic difference in write/read speeds. It was roughly $30 more than the next 4TB portable drive, which I exchanged it for when BB got them in stock. If you are a gamer OR if you feel better having a metal shell around your hard drive, this drive will probably give you peace of mind. In my experience, composite protective shells have more give and suppress the shock of a drop more than metal cases. But I don't know what sort of protection is inside. The Black drives are very nice drives. I use them in my NAS and I've never had one face. However, it's been nearly 10 years since I've had any WD hard drive fail (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!!!!!).

This is my new backup unit, I was surprised at how sturdy, cheap and spacious this thing is. After having it for over a year+ Still no issues. highly recommend!

Well made, rugged.... 4TB plenty of room.... Windows 10 found it with no problem.... We are buying a 2nd to back-up this 1rst one.... Look fwd to the day when SSDs are at this price and size.
