    The only CMR drive that I found in the store. Perfect for backups, NAS and large files.

    Bought 4 of these drives. This one came in a box that was so beat up that I didn't even open the box. The other drives looked great. The outer box was undamaged. So someone in shipping thought it was a good idea to throw in a box that looked like it had been dropped and damaged. So this one is going back. I gave a 3 just for this reason. No issues witht the other drives yet. Would have recieved a 4 only because the drives are louder than I expected. I guess they will be upgraded to SSDs whenever they fail.

    Remember to get a Red "Plus" version which is CMR vs non plus version which is SMR.

    Buy only if it's on sale, which seems to be often. Currently holding down my desk fulfilling its destiny as a spare for my server. It's red.
