      Works great as a storage drive in my Plex server. Fits in well with the other 4 gig WD red Plus drives that are in there.

      Works as advertised. However apparently this drive uses shingling technology which significantly affects both read write performance.

      Purchased this drive for my Netgear NAS server and it works quite well. I did prelimenary tests on the drive to check it for defects and it was all good. Placed the drive into the NAS server and it was recognized right away and was able to fill it up with lots of data. Drive runs cool since it only runs at 5400 rpm, which is more than enough for a NAS. It's been a couple months since I installed the drive and so far everything looks great.
