The first drive received could not be seen by my computer. After working with the HelpDesk they suggested it was a drive problem and to return and get a new one. The second one received seems to working ok...fingers crossed.

Shame on bestbuy for selling re-certified junk drives as OEM Bare drives, that have a 1 year warranty. 12/15/19 one out of three has failed. Complete junk don't buy.

Purchased 4 of these red 4tb drives for my Qnap NAS back in in April 2015. I set them up on a Raid 5 configuration and so far no problems at all. They run smooth and quietly. Little to no noise and they get plenty of use on a daily basis with constant camera video being stored in them and plenty of streaming audio and video to multiple devices simultaneously. Extremely reliable. Best hard drives I have owned.

BestBuy's offer for a pair of these drives, just too good to ignore. The whole transaction was great and my QNAP NAS is very happy with the shiny new upgrade. WD RED is pretty much the Gold Standard for NAS drives. I was using 3TB Reds, but outgrew them. I've had 4 years of perfect performance from them, so it is very logical that they will get re-purposed very soon.
