Solid drive. Quiet. Worked right out of the box for my NAS application.

Got two of these and one became unreadable. Not sure of the cause, might be that these cannot be used on more than one system without doing a complete wipe.

Poor reliability

I used the drive for less than 6 months before it got degraded. I returned the drive to WD for Warranty and have been waiting for almost 2 months to get a replacement and am extremely frustrated with no update from WD warranty even though I have called them 3 times now,

WD Red replacement

This WD Red Plus drive was bought to replace a WD Red Plus drive that failed after about only about 2 years of use. I was disappointed with that failure.
