    These WD Reds last for years. I'm just now swapping out the old ones because they are showing signs of age.

    The drive is good for video storage, music files and such. Does the job and is silent most of the time. Comes with a manufacture 3 year which great.

    This replaced the original WD HDD that was in a G-Drive external storage unit. Thankfully, this WD Red is 7200 rpm versus the slower older 5200 rpm that originally was from the OEM. Looking forward to another 5 years of use, and continuing using the original enclosure to avoid waste.

    Drive worked perfectly put of the box. The website showed that the store had 2 in stock which was just what I needed to fix a broken NAS.

    I've had it for about a month and is working perfectly. Placed in a Synology NAS. Very easy set up, ability to update drive firmware and good drive monitoring.

    I have had drive for a few weeks and it has not failed yet. I hope I can say the same thing in two years. Allows me to back up my system and have space to grow.
