ONE OF THE TWO PURCHASED WENT BAD ALREADY!

I purchased 2 of these in October 2024. For the last week or so, I noticed that the one in Bay 1 is now showing a solid red light instead of the usual solid blue light. I'm not really sure what the issue is but until I can take it to Geek Squad at Best Buy, I'm purchasing a replacement.

Quiet and works as intended. I installed it into my diy nas and had no issues getting it to work with my existing drives.

Easy Order but Slow Pick Up

I needed two hard drives asap for a security system. I found them at Best Buy. I ordered them for pickup and they were ready as Sonny as I got there. Lifesaver

My drive failed not even a year in. I sent it back in for replacement and it took over 3 months and me emailing the customer support multiple multiple times. They escalated it 3 times and then sent an email asking me to send in the drive after they had the drive for 2 months. I finally received the replacement 2-3-2026. this drive is for my Unifi Firewall for VR of my front doorbell so not even heavy use. I will not buy another WD drive.

Great Drive for NAS

Excellent deal on a great drive. I was able to install easily the new drive into the Synology NAS and then get it to rebuild.

With all the crap going on at WD you have to wonder about quality in the near future. With WD dropping their Home Cloud services starting this June I had to move to another NAS solution
