The last 2 years the software would not load on 3 different computers. I wound up having to call Webroot, and they handled it for me. No point to buying it from Best Buy anymore.

Webroot SecureAnywhere only blocks malicious pop-ups. It will block and remove any pop-ups that attempt to infect your computer or are caused by an infection.
However, many sites do have their own pop-ups which are not threats. Some pop-ups can be forms of advertisement. Others can be more useful, providing additional information or features. If you do not want to see these pop-ups, you can change the settings in your browser to block them from appearing.
Below are three sets of instructions for blocking pop-ups, one for each of the three major browsers - Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Internet Explorer:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click on Tools (or the gear icon in the upper right corner).
3. Go to Pop-Up Blocker in the drop-down menu.
4. Select Pop-Up Blocker Settings.
5. Set the blocking level to high at the bottom of the window.
Mozilla Firefox:
1. Open Firefox.

Hope it is installed now. Not sure. Tried calling but that didn't work out well either. May go to another brand next year.

What I love most about it is that it contains my favorite shields such as: realtime, web, Identity, and phishing. I also love the fact that it is Windows 10 compatible. So for those of you who have purchased Webroot for a Windows 7 or 8.1 PC, you are free to upgrade your Windows Operating System to version 10 with Webroot's latest version.

Excellent Security Software!

I have had no problems with this product; moreover, Webroot has been effective at protecting my devices. I have used Webroot Security products for 3 years and I highly recommend this Webroot Security product.

It doesn't bog down my system. I am a bit annoyed Webroot penalizes current users by offering renewals at full price rather than the sale price given to new users. The way around it is to purchase a new product (new product key) and activate it when your existing product has one day remaining or expires. I have also had good luck calling Customer service and asking them to activate the new product key and add any remaining days to the new subscription. It would be five stars if renewal was priced to retain existing customers rather than penalize and annoy them.

Norton has slowed down significantly my computer, Kaspersky was just OK. Webroot was fast to install, and had almost no impact on speed, while being effective at what was supposed to do

The password manager seems to be a fork of a paid LastPass license, which could not be more welcome. Only have to remember a single password while generating secure random passwords for most websites. The system optimizer tool helps keep temp files and registry entries under control. Best part is that it runs super-light, complete scans take only several minutes and the resources it uses are minimal.
