    Doesn't work with older home wiring

    We had to return due to our home being older and not having the correct wiring to install. The only product that we could install with two wires is the "Lutron" so we exchanged for those.

    I give it 3 stars, 60%, because that’s about how often it responds. It seems to spend most of its time updating so it doesn’t respond. When it isn’t it works fine.

    I set up would be much easier if they support 5 GHz, it is a real pain in the neck if you have a message system that uses both simultaneously. They need to upgrade this device 2.4 GHz support only is ridiculous

    App Wont discover Wemo Devices

    I've had a wemo dimmer switch for almost a year. Worked great till about the time the app was updated for IOS 13. I haven't been able to get it to be discovered. I have bought this switch about 3 wks ago. Same issue. Been in contact several times with support. They haven't been able to resolve the issue yet. The last I've heard they was filling out a detailed report and sending it to their eng. Mean while im still waiting for them to contact me again. I dont recommend this for anyone.

    I liked the option to use with Apple home. I purchased 3 separate switches and could not get them to connect to my home WiFi. I’ve been installing electrical devices in houses for many years, I just think either the app has issues or the switches were defective. I returned this product and purchased the TP-link switches. With some added steps you can have Siri turn them on and off for you. I’d recommend the TP-link brand product over these any day.

    Beware! Wemo = BELKIN = Linksys. Their support is a disaster. The app has not been functional on my phone for months and they have no fix or explanation.

    This thing will not connect to my WiFi. I have a bunch of other Wemo and they are hit and miss also.

      The Wemo WiFi Smart Light Switch only supports the 2.4GHz 802.11n band. You can try to use a different mobile device to set up the light switch and make sure that the location of the switch receives a strong WiFi signal.

    It works but it syncs with Apple HomeKit, I need it on google home but can’t find a way to unlink from Apple, I even reset it and re install and same thing!

    Good Smart switch to add to other Wemo products. Not an incredibly difficult install but would recommend professional installation to be safe

    I purchase several of this because it was easy to work with HomeKit built they constantly disconnect without reason fail to work properly, love the idea but still need some work, hopefully this is something that a firmware update will fix cause i expend some money on those switches

    The Wemo app faces issues constantly. Quite often the devices are not found and you may even need to reconfigure them again
