This light switch and the other outlet style plugs have worked reliably for over 5 years. Of course, we will experience the occasional hiccups such as lost internet connection or power interruptions but they have never failed on us. But remember you are at the mercy of your internet connection in order to interact with these switches via the WeMo app. So if you are out of town when your network crashes, you will not be able to communicate with the switches. However, the daily programs will continue to work regardless of the app connection. Installation and setting the light switch up are also a breeze. WeMo provides very detailed instructions to guide you through it. We highly recommend the WeMo Light Switch!

I am using this switch as replacement for timer box, controlling yard accent lights, and porch light. Working well as described, and will save time and effort resetting timer box. Which also needed resetting after power outage.

Love the WeMo light switch - this is the fourth one I have installed in my home and they work flawlessly. I also have WeMo Minin Smart Plugs that I use throughout the house for lighting not on switches. Great value for the price.

Very easy to install. If you can install a standard light switch you can install this in 10 minutes. No wiring needed. Phone app that operates is free. Easy to connect to WiFi.

I have a few of these WEMO light switches and wall plugs. Convenient operation. They do go off-line every once and a while but over all very good.

The biggest issue historically with the WeMo brand has been software, and with the recent update they seem to have addressed most of those issues. Setup is easy and seamless, and the new version of the app walks you through the process with little trouble. The hardest thing about setting up this switch is making sure your wires have been previously labeled correctly. My only complaint about this is how much more expensive it is from similar products, but I suppose that's what you get for choosing one with AppleHome support. I personally don't use AppeHome (Siri sucks), but I like how clean the WeMo app runs so I'm just paying for that preference. I had this set up in about 30 minutes and scheduled lights for nights. Very happy with how this turned out.

Finally, WeMo doesn't require a hub! Like the original, this switch works. Unlike the first, it actually stays connected and likes HomeKit out of the box! If you're looking for a simple switch to add to your home, this is the one!

I immediately connected this go my Google Home system and being able to dim my living room lights is super nice. The installation is very easy and that's coming from someone that's not that handy! Definitely a buy!

Belkin Wemo switch products are easy to set up and integrate into Smartthings app. Style matches modern contemporary decor. A little pricey.

Loving this second generation switch. The LED power indicator is brighter, looks nicer, and the switch overall is sleeker. Installation was pretty quick, and it connected to HomeKit without any problems.

It was easy to switch out my old one for this new one. I am in love with it and plus side the most awesome of course is the fact that I get to ask Google to turn on and off my fan even when I'm not home.

Switch maintains a solid connection with our router. Now we can modify our “away mode” for a more realistic appearance. HomeKit compatibility is a major feature.

We have several Wemo switches and once in awhile you get one that has some connection issues. The last switch we bought was one of those.

I just replaced total 5 new WeMo Light Switches to work with HomeKit from Apple. Had the old version for 5 years and now to the 2nd generation of WeMo, that is how much I love the product.

Needed something as a timer for outdoor lights. Works great. A little tricky to get it started. Once you figure it out, it works great.

Belkins did a great job on this one. Super easy to install. Easy to get it added to The Apple HomeKit environment. I’ve had it on a scheduled cycle for about a month now and it has been very consist.

Works great with no problems. I was able to hook it up to my outdoor spotlight. I can control it via the Wemo app and by voice over Alexa
