Quick to set up and easy to use. I had to come back for the three pack, its a better value. Works fantastic with Alexa. There is hardly a delay between the plugs turning on and off and I haven't had any problems with routines or disconnecting from wifi

Easy to install, and works well. Only have had one small issue, and that is one outlet behind some metal has WiFi issues. The other 5 we have all work fine. I haven't upgraded FW yet, so I don't know if there is an outstanding issue or not. The integration with Alexa works well, and my wife and daughter love it. Solid little plugs, and the mini design is nice. I upgraded 3 of the older models to these, after the older models finally just stopped working after years.

Bought economic triple pack to work with existing set up of WiFi plugs - easy set up with app and integrates with Alexa. Smaller size is convenient and doesn’t block neighboring outlet. Drops off from connectivity occasionally but all of them seem to at times. Works as expected so far. As long as the plugs continues to be supported (unlike some other WiFi plugs that are obsolete paper weights) have no big complaints.

These little guys are pretty easy to setup and use. The Wemo app is lacking, but you can use the Apple Homekit app once you set up the plug using the Wemo app. (And there might even be an easier way?) Overall, it's a good gadget and I wish we had just gotten the 3-pack right out of the gate. I've bought 2 singles so far already. Haha...if you think you'll like it, go ahead and save some money and get the 3-pack.

Wemo is a nice product

The Wemo product does exactly what it's supposed to do, although one has to keep it plugged in at all times with wi-fi on so that it can be utilized with voice control from the phone or an audio source like HomePod mini. One small nitpick is that once wi-fi is turned off for the night, the Wemo keeps flashing the orange lights on searching for wi-fi and that concerns me. However, I suspect it's software based so I have to turn it off remotely on the phone and then turn off wi-fi to avoid the flashing light. Otherwise, the setting up is VERY easy with the scanning of the barcode that opens up the Homekit app or the Wemo app either way you want. It does take a moment for the smart plug to recognize my voice and turn the light on or off, however it works very well. A useful product when arriving home at night or in dark mornings when wi-fi is activated.

I like the sizing over the other Wemo plugs. They work great with Google Home. My only issue was during the setup. It worked then it seemed to forget my device. After a hard reset and setting up the plugs again it worked. Once it is setup, it is great!

These smart plugs are terrific. Once I got them set up, I can turn on lights with my iPhone anytime. I also paired them with my Google assistant and walk in a room and just tell it to turn the lights on and off. I also can set a timer for them to work automatically. They work great with lights. Note that they are not recommended for large draw items like air conditioners, heaters, etc.

I've had these for 5 months now, after having used GE zwave smart plugs for 6 years combined with a Wink hub. This year Wink moved to a subscription that I didn't want to pay just to turn my lights on and off and they had been having their own stability issues. With recent HomeKit improvements I wanted to give HomeKit another shot. These plugs work fine with HomeKit and Alexa (didn't try Google), and it was nice not need an additional hub. They're stylish, don't waste space, and the buttons are easy to press. That's all I have good to say about these.
Two big cons:
1.) They've been horribly unreliable for me. They randomly disconnect from the wifi and require manually unplugging them and plugging them back in to reconnect. And of course there's no notification when this happens. A nuisance at best when I'm home, but I've been away from home for a month now and they've been gradually going offline unless I send someone to check on them - some get stuck 'on' and others just stop responding. I don't know if this is a 2.4GHz vs 5GHz issue, but my Eero network will not let me disable or rename the 5GHz to experiment.
2.) If they lose power, they default to 'off' and this can't be changed. Wemo says it's a safety issue. Coming home to a dark house because the power flickered briefly is really annoying. My zwave switches remembered their state perfectly.
I regret spending the money on these. They're too much hassle. Smart plugs should be a set-it-and-forget-it thing.

Good plugs, but difficult to set up

I bought these plugs to use with my holiday lights so I could control them from my iPhone. I’ve purchased previous smart plugs from Wemo and they’ve all worked well so I was expecting the same from these. The setup process was extremely frustrating since the app kept saying “setup failed.” I tried moving the plugs closer to my WiFi router and still got the same error. After consulting the manual and manually resetting the plugs, the setup worked fine and now they work great with my Apple HomeKit system to control the lights. As long as you’re ok spending awhile on setup, these plugs are an excellent value and work flawlessly once set up.

Bought these a while ago for Christmas lights. Have since used them for other applications, like setting a schedule for my dehumidifier, so it doesn't run all day and night.

Well at $25, this is a little expensive for a single plug, but if you can get a promotion (like get an Apple HomePod Mini and this is $10), it's a good value.
Works as expected and the best thing is that it does work with Apple Home. The main issue, as with all these devices, is that setup is confusing. You have to load up the Wemo application and then jump to Apple Home. That is getting fixed shortly.
The other issue is that if you are using it with Apple Home, the remote timing doesn't work that well. Better to set things like on and off times with Wemo. (That's more a bug with Apple though).

I used these with my Christmas lights in upstairs windows. They are easy to configure and will work with Alexa without requiring a hub. They have worked reliably, which hasn't been true of all of the Smart Home products I have used. They are small enough that I can still use the second outlet in a duplex outlet.

This is the smallest WiFi plug I've worked with so far; very nice, compact design.
The plug is very easy to setup and also works with the IFTTT (If This Then That) platform, which is another plus.
Happy with my purchase, just wish they were a bit cheaper.

I love these little WiFi wonders. I have several lamps and other devices like my old school coffee maker using these. I can schedule the lamps to come on at various times on multiple schedules to make it look like I'm home when I am actually away. I've often forgotten to turn off the coffee pot when i leave the house and with this, I can make sure it's turned off.
Easy to set up with the app and super reliable.
Doesn't interfere with the other wall socket.

Oh Wemo… I love how great they work when they’re set up, but setting them up is the biggest pain whether I try it though the Wemo app or the Apple Home app. If setup worked the first time every time, it would be a stellar product. Once it’s set up, it never fails me, but I think it took me about 2 or 3 hours of trying before setup worked.
My mother also had the same issue when setting up the same plug. I believe she lost patience and returned it.

Easy to use and set up. Only issue I have is after having a power outage, I’ll sometimes have to reset the whole plug for it to work correctly and link with Siri and/or Alexa (which means completely removing it from Siri/Alexa and re-adding it to the WeMo app)
I’ve set it up primarily for lights in the house - under cabinet kitchen lights (until permanent ones get installed), a hallway light, and (seasonally) our Christmas tree lights

Great little homekit box. Plug anything into it and have Siri recognise those things as lights or outlets. This improves on the previous generation by taking up way less space.
Only gripe is periodically it just disconnects from wifi and the only fix is to unplug and plug back in. The wemo app also is pretty bad, I try to do everything direct through Siri so I dont have to use their app.

I purchased four WeMo smart plug, two set up very easily, but the other two were a real pain, took two hours to get them to work. Also sometimes they do not connect to my home wifi. When working they are convenient and work with apple home. Still have not gotten them to work outside of my wifi.
