Bought these plugs specifically because they work with Apple Homekit. Sometimes they lose connection in the Wemo app, but still work in the Apple Home app. Great plugs, especially when they’re on sale.

I purchased this item hoping I would not need to download the proprietary app and could immediately begin using it with the Apple Home App. It worked perfectly, easy to install, functionality and range is perfect in a 2 story environment. When you click the on/off, it is instant with no delays. I am able to load the icon for each home plug on my favorites iPhone screen and have immediate access to each without going into any folders or apps. I just can't say enough about this product, I tried others and they were horrible or you needed to download another app. The plug is compact and does not cover the second wall plug so you are able to use both wall plugs. Go and buy if you have an iPhone.

These new wemo smart plugs are great. They take up less room and still do the job. By the three pack. it is a better buy then just buying the individual. Great improvement over the previous version.

This is my fourth Wemo switch that I have. They are inexpensive devices that work well with lamps. My only gripe is that it has a tendency to go offline. It’s just enough to be annoying but not enough to return/look into a different line of switches. For the price these are great, and they are small enough to have two in a single outlet.

Having other Wemo enabled plugs, they simplify life if you use a home assistant. The setup requires that you make a Wemo account now, but it does allow you to turn the outlet on or off if you are out of the house. They are also good for setting up a timer for holiday lights, or setting "Alexa turn on lights" The only down side is that it requires another online service account.

Cheaper than SmartBulbs Love the new design, smaller and cheaper I got the 3pc package which I use to control Office and bedroom lamps. These are really easy to set up

Great compact design for a great price especially when it is on sale. Built-in timer on app makes it that you hardly ever have to use light switches to control lights.

The Wemo app is great for setting everything up, scheduling timers, and accessing devices when away from home. The devices also sync with Apple HomeKit, giving me quick control over my devices using Siri or the swipe up menu on my iPhone (an icon shows up right by the flashlight button). HomeKit allows me to group devices together, so I can just tell Siri “Christmas on“ and the three plugs controlling my tree and Christmas lights all turn on. But without an Apple TV or HomePod, the HomeKit app will not let me do any automation. Overall, weMo seems too lack advanced functionality, but does the basics very well.

I love the updated Wemo plug! I purchased this one for my Christmas tree this year, I have 3 of the previous versions and they also work great but this new one with its smaller footprint is awesome! Hopefully I don’t repurpose it for another item after the holidays or I’ll be buying another one next year! The best part is it works flawlessly with my HomeKit setup. I even have a Siri shortcut when I say “hey Siri, it’s beginning to feel like Christmas” the tree comes on, holiday music starts to play and a Yule log YouTube video plays on my tv. My daughter thinks “Daddy is magic”.

These little switches were easy to install, and overall work pretty well. However when connecting it to my phone, sometimes it has trouble connecting via ‘hey Siri’. I feel like I have to alternate between the Wemo app and the home app. However, for the price and ease of installation, it works decently.

Bought this smart plug as it works with Apple Home. Had a little trouble getting it connected to wifi in the house. The directions aren't very clear on this but it needs to be on the same frequency network (5Ghz or similar) as the device you are setting it up with. Once finally connected, it worked flawlessly!

They work really week and are easy to setup. The only reason I am rating a 4 is due to the need to reconnect them to the wifi (unplug/replug into the wall outlet). However I am not certain if it’s settings on my wifi or the plugs which I will dig into a bit more soon.

I really like this and they are very compact. However, sometimes (very rarely) it will disconnect and need to be unplugged and replugged in. I'm not saying it's bad it's just that it happens. I still would highly recommend. The convenience that it provides outweighs the cons.

WeMo makes the best, easiest to use plugs that are also Apple HomeKit compatible. The only limit to how you use them is your imagination!

Bought this to be able to integrate control of my Christmas tree lights into my HomeKit. Works like a dream. Super easy to set up and use.

So easy to set up compared to the older WeMo switches. Smaller footprint and seamless with Alexa

Works pretty smoothly to be honest. I could see this being problematic if your internet isn't strong enough in a certain area. But it's solid and just does it's thing without complaining. When I moved and changed wifi names, repairing took a gooooooood minute, and I'm not sure if many people would have been as persistent as I was. They gotta fix that. But once they are set up in the Apple Home app, they just do their thing, no prob.

I know this is not supposed to be used outside but the area where it is plugged in is shielded from all weather. With that out of the way we used this to flick on our Christmas lights so we didn't have to go outside in the cold. Very convenient! the only reason why I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the pairing process... it took me longer than most of my other HomeKit enabled devices to set this up. Also at times it seems to disconnect from the network and when this happens the plug gets stuck in either the on or off position. Overall besides those two small issues this thing is great and serves it purpose to make your everyday life easier. Also a major bonus is the ability to set that up on a timer to automatically turn on and off.

These are very easy to use and help me turn my home into my desired smart home for a low cost. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I have experienced some difficulties connecting them at setup. It eventually worked out, but it did cause a headache at the time.

These are the smallest, smartest smart plugs I have. Love how they integrate with HomeKit. We use them constantly. They’re even quicker to setup and respond to commands than previous Wemo outlets. But - and this may be a big but depending on your level of patience - these have a high failure rate it seems. Of 6 that I bought so far, 3 have failed over the course of about 2 weeks. Contacting Wemo support was a pain, but they confirmed a known issue with this model failing after initial setup. They ultimately just told me to return them because that would be easier for me than to deal with their 2 week turn around for replacement. I’d hope there will be a firmware update or hardware revision soon to resolve the high failure rate.
