Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own more then 4 of these plugs in my house and told several friends and family we have these plugs and they work great. they save on electricity because when I am not using these products there not drawing electricity because i have them shut off. cables boxes are the only things that should be plugged in. when your not home or just sleeping tv's and any ready red light should be off not using electricity.

However, they are a pain to set up and several keep disconnecting. They will just randomly say not detected in the app. Some will continue to work with Alexa and in routines and others will not work at all and you have to reset them. I am also annoyed that Wemo forces you to add these HomeKit. The plugs that force you to use HomeKit seem to have the most problems. I have 10 of these after years of problems and headaches, I am thinking of throwing them away and getting them from another company.

Make sure that you have the latest version of the Wemo app and that the Wemo devices are running on the latest firmware, to ensure proper functionality. As for the Homekit integration with the WSP080, it is optional.
