The WeMo - WiFi Smart Plugs works as expected. No issues to report.

These plugs are great. I have about 10 in my house...use it for things like lamps, TVs, Christmas Tree, air purifier. The Wemo app is great, works seemlessly with Google Home.

Works as intended. Doesn’t work with Apple HomeKit but the standalone app works fine.

Use these for my Christmas decorations to hook up to my smart home worked out awesome

I normally like Belkin's products. This is the most frustrating one I have ever had from them. Tech support is awful and hours wait. I have tried many different brands of wifi plugs. TP-Link, Wyze, Amazon, Feit, and Wemo. I wanted to like this one the most but it was the worst. It is the only one that is supposed to work with fully with Apple Homekit. It constantly disconnects and will not re-join. Their app says not detected. I have unplugged and plugged in the plug many times and even removing the plug from app and resetting it to factory settings, it joins the first time but after a few minutes it loses connection and can not be detected. JUNK. Does not even work Siri shortcuts. Do not waste your time. Beyond frustrating!

It's kind of a pain to set up but once it is, it's solid.

When you do everything right and it still doesn’t connect... I have had these smart plugs for months. The first time setting them up was almost impossible and HomeKit integration is supposed to be easy. Ever other HomeKit accessory I own connected without issue. I could not easily connect to the plugs with the Wemo app or the Apple Home app. I restarted my iphone, my router, tried with my iPad, and even followed the directions from both the Wemo app and Home app. I live in 800sqft and the plugs can’t even stay connected to WiFi and the app can never detect the state of the plugs or control them reliably. Don’t buy these unless you want constant frustration. Belkin Wemo = bad smart home accessories.

Using with lamps in dining room, living room and hallway. Works great, love them. Sometimes can be a bit of a pain to get set up, but, once working correctly they are great. Using with HomeKit.

I have 12 other older Wemo devices. They work fine with the Wemo App and Alexa. But, I have not been able to get these newer plugs to work with Alexa - however, they do work with the Wemo app. I have tried to get an answer from Wemo support, but have not been successful yet. That is the reason for the 3 star review!

Wemo stuff was the best holiday purchase. We were able to control so much in our home from different locations and just by driving into the vicinity of our home! Definitely a worthwhile purchase

These little things are great. The fact that it integrates into the iOS Home ecosystem makes them even better. Love the smaller form factor they have now as well.

I use these to control all of my Christmas lights at one time. Being able to say "Merry Christmas" and have all of my lights come on makes it that much more festive. I highly recommend these!

They work but I have had to reset one of the plugs twice already.

Integrates easily into my Alexa controlled setup. Onboarding to the Wemo app was easy and quick. I do wish the price was more competitive with all the other smart plugs. Would still buy again.

I have been using WeMo products for several years and have been happy with them overall. I was glad to get these new WeMo plugs and see how they function compared to some of my other WeMo plugs. Every iteration of WeMo products that I have used seems to get better when it comes to design as well as setup and features, and this was no exception. These plugs came well-equipped for HomeKit setup with the HomeKit setup code on the side of the plug and on a sheet in the box. Compared to the last iteration of WeMo switches, these have definitely improved. Some of the switches I have from the last version did not have a HomeKit code to scan at all, and some of the newer ones had one that was located on the back where the plug goes into the wall. There wasn't a way to scan the code when the plug was plugged in which made the initial setup a real pain. On this version, it was super easy scanning the code on the sheet in the box, and the code on the side of the plug should also be easy as well. I used the WeMo app on my iPhone to set this up and it almost went perfectly except for one small WiFi issue. Belkin (the company that makes WeMo) has definitely improved the setup process on iPhones as I didn't even have to connect to the plug's WiFi network manually to set it up. It is now as simple as scanning the HomeKit code and your phone does the rest. I cannot speak to the Android experience, but I would expect it to be similar to what it used to be on the iPhone where you had to connect to the WiFi network of the plug temporarily and then open the WeMo app to set the device up. Something to be aware of during HomeKit setup on iPhones: If you have a WiFi network with separate network names for the 2 GHz and 5 GHz, you will run into issues if you scan the HomeKit code while your phone is on the 5 GHz network. I got a message saying that "This accessory isn’t compatible with your Wi-Fi router". If you get this message, you need to go into the Settings app on your phone and select the 2 GHz WiFi network and then go and re-scan the setup code. It should then work. I would also advise going back to your iPhone settings and forgetting the 2 GHz network afterwards so your phone defaults to the 5 GHz network. I wish these would have had support for 5 GHz WiFi. It seems that by now since 5 GHz WiFi has been around for as long as it has that it wouldn't be a big deal for every new WiFi connected device to have it. This would have made the HomeKit setup flawless for me. I hope going forward that Belkin will add 5 GHz WiFi to future WeMo iterations. The design of this plug is super small and compact which I really love. The plugs functioned great in my testing, as I would expect from WeMo products. When it comes to software and the reliability and capabilities of these plugs, things have worked great using them through HomeKit and the WeMo app. Belkin has made some nice improvements with adding online accounts to allow for more reliable access and control to WeMo products through the WeMo app and devices such as Amazon Alexa enabled devices. What really sets WeMo products apart for me is the fact that they have continued to improve over time with both software and hardware improvements and most importantly they integrate really well with Apple HomeKit which allows me to quickly and easily control all my smart devices in one app. I also really like that Belkin continues to stand by their older products over time. For example, for older devices that could not support HomeKit built in, they released a bridge that allowed them to support HomeKit without having to buy new plugs and switches. Overall, I really like these smart plugs! While the WeMo experience has never been perfect and there have definitely been some annoying software glitches and issues over the years, these products continue getting better and better and I am glad to have them as a part of my smart home setup!

We’ve been using Wemo products for years. We’ve never had a problem with them, other than the wemo hub disconnecting from HomeKit from time to time. We haven’t used this model of Wemo plug before, but all others have been great. These plugs were horrible. They would not connect to our router and kept dropping the connection once we were able to get them connected. All three plugs had the same issue, so it wasn’t just one that was defective. It’s definitely a design issue with these plugs. We replaced them with plugs from a different brand, and they work flawlessly.

Overall pretty good smart plugs. We have over 20 of them now. Sometimes the 3 packs come with at least one bad plug, however out of the last two 3packs all 6 worked

Works well. Stays connected to the network (unlike previous models). The light is hard to see since it is on the side, not the front.

I have used Belkin products before and found them of good quality. I find these devices impossible to set up. My router is compatible in frequency and security. My iPhone has the latest IOS and I downloaded the the latest version of the Wemo app. I tried to connect them to my wi-fi network through the Wemo app and directly through Apple's Home app. Neither worked. I rebooted and reset the plugs, the phone, and the app. All to no avail. I followed all the instructions provided, including what to try if they fail to connect. While I may not be Genius Bar material, I'm not an unsophisticated user. I tried online help. I tried to get to customer support but they were busy. I wonder why?
