I have several of these, and I’d say about half of them give me issues. They’ll lose WiFi connection, or have difficulties setting up. I would love them if they ironed out this issues, and really the only thing that makes me want a Wemo plug over others is the integration with Apple HomeKit and the price. If you don’t need HomeKit, there are better alternatives.

Love that the new WeMo smartplugs are smaller than the previous model - definitely makes it more manageable to use in some outlets. This was easy to set up and I have loved using it with both my google & amazon home devices.

Works just as well as the previous model but they somehow got all the tech into a smaller brick. I love it! I used this to power on and off my Christmas tree this last season and it was reliable with HomeKit and convenient.

What can I say, it is what it is. The Wemo smart outlet met two of my three requirements for smart home devices. First, it is compatible with the various assistants (Siri, Google, Alexa). Second, it has a physical button that can be used if the internet goes out and said assistants are not available. It is missing the third thing that I want out of a smart home device. It does not work with Zigbee/Z-wave, meaning that without internet your only option is the side button. For most people this is not an issue. Truthfully it isn't a huge issue for me right now because we will be moving soon, and I don't want to invest in a Zigbee compatible setup only to move.

Smooth setup and easy to use. They also fit in some areas that are very narrow. Highly recommended!

Easy to use/install and works amazingly with android and ios. Lets control the power to any plugin device with your phone. Makes it easy and affordable to turn a home into a smart home.

I am impressed with the performance and reliability of these perfect-sized smart plugs. They don’t cover the second outlet like many smart plugs do.

Had some difficulty getting the device to pair with my Apple Home app using the QR code supplied with the start up instructions. After numerous attempts and troubleshooting directions on the Wemo site I tried it directly from within the Home app. I used the scan function and the QR code on the lug. That did it. Shouldn't have been that hard but eventually got it.

I added another wemo smart plug to my collection. This one is more compact that my previous ones. It works as expected. Very easy to connect and works with Alexa. I purchased it as part of Black Friday deals.

Great smart plugs set up is easy with the app holds your hand all the way thru setup if needed i have 4 working now absolutely no problems very inexpensive and worth every penny

Works well I have a mixed network 2.4/5ghz and have it hooked up to my lava lamp and can voice control with alexa. Works well easy to setup no disconnects after about 3 weeks.

We have several Wemo switches and smart plugs, many several years old. Early versions had some issues with ease of reset after power outages or other interruptions. Software updates seem to have made this much better now. We recently had power loss, generator supplied power, and multiple interruptions but all the Wemo devices worked without error through it all. That was greatly appreciated with all the other issues we had to cover.

i bought these plugs to control christmas tree lights as outlets were hard to reach. I also used one to control a floor lamp. They came in especially handy as we were out of town for a few days and i used HomeKit to automatically turn lights on off at specific times. The first 2 plugs set up very easily but 3rd unit took several tries to get it to work. i’ll probably buy more as i continue to automate my home.

These smart plugs are convenient but not reliable while working with HomeKit. I have had to reset them a few times so far based on their “No Response” error in HomeKit app. Other than that, they work well through their native app. I have a mesh network so it’s not my network causing an issue abd I keep both the network software updated and the Wemo firmware update but still issue persists.

I like using the Wemo outlets to extend my smart home easily. Set up is easy when you follow the instructions (not one of my strong points). Also works with my HomeKit.

When it's Holiday Season and you pull out the Christmas tree and all those cool Holiday lights and animated ornaments you need some way to control them all without having to crawl around turning on and off power strips or plugs. The WEMO Smart Plugs are the way to go. Just set up a routine and your can set it turn on and off at certain times, at sun up and down, and geofenced (like when you arrive home and the WEMO app knows through your cellphone that you are home). These things also used to be huge, but now they are tiny, with no loss of signal strength. If you have items that you want to be automatically turned on and off, these are the way to go!

This version of the wemo smart plug is smaller than our others and the button is on the side. These two small changes are excellent upgrades and made an already good product, great.

Is easy to add onto your existing Wemo devices. Also works with Alexa, which is nice. If you don't already have a Wemo account and devices, there will be a bit more work to get it set up.

Easier to set up and takes up less space than the wemo mini. It’s a good upgrade. HomeKit code is on the side instead of the back so you can actually scan it without unplugging it.

The WeMo smart plug was purchased to replace mechanical timers. My first attempt at programing multiple cycles did not work because I was programing them using the same individual logic as a mechanical timer. The WeMo program is different, you program your times and then you go to the individual plugs and attach the programs. This allows a single program to control multiple plugs. WeMo also has dawn to dusk choices that adjust to match sunup and sundown. Compared to some simple on-off plugs I purchased for Alexia, these have greater functionality
