If you're looking for a reasonably priced and useful smart outlet, these Wemo outlets are a great option. This pack includes three single outlets. There is a card in the package that provides the app information necessary. Once your app is downloaded, plug the outlets in and begin setup. The card with the app info also has three QR codes to quickly connect each outlet to your app and wifi network. With the app, you can control all of your outlets individually. You can turn them on and off. You can also set timers or schedules for them to turn on and off straight from your phone. There is also an away mode. These are great because they not only connect you to your outlets from your phone, but help you save power by turning the outlets and things plugged into them off. The setup is quick and easy and also allows you to update the firmware directly from your app.

I have the original wemo plugs and these are finally great! Very simple to set up. Make sure you register for a wemo account first, it make setup smoother. These plugs are a good size, they don't block other outlets. Works great with Alexa too!

I wanted to like this product. I have the perfect “CLAP on CLAP off’ situation that I had high hopes that this device could be a solution for, in addition to hundreds of other potential service ideas that this technology could bring. Initially it set up easy. Saw my WiFi and connected with no issue. That is where the fun begins! Drops connection repeatedly. Read online for fixes etc. Got it working, moved them to different plugs hoping for better success. Just could not get it to connect reliably to WiFi. Works for a while and then just stops. While connected app seems to work. Played around with it some more and still had connectivity issues. Made changes to Router to ensure there were not any special characters from Network name, no password, 1 upper case character in network name and still had issues connected. Removed App, reinstalled app, tried from iPhone, iPad and Android Samsung Note 10, and finally got it connected and set up in again. After a scheduled power outage and it didn't find the network again, I unplugged. I am tired of playing around with this thing. Not recommended.

I was sent these plugs for review and here are my findings on first inspection and use. These plugs seemed pretty straight forward out of the box. Easy to follow instruction card with QR codes for each of the plugs to identify them in the app. The app itself is pretty intuitive. Very simple to follow during set-up, nothing too complicated after things are added and running. The first one was a breeze to set-up. The second one I tried several times with little luck to get it to connect to Alexa and Apple Home Kit. Skipped that one and went to the third one and again it was a breeze. The second one had to be factory reset several times (possible user error) before it was able to connect flawlessly. I recommend you have patience and if there is a problem don't get frustrated just read through the app to find how to reset the device if it is giving a problem and not connecting to your chosen method of controlling it. The app shut down a couple of times while trying to get that pesky second plug to reset and get setup. Nothing that I would say is a deal-breaker. Maybe just a bug in the iOS app. I have not had the opportunity yet to check out all of the features that the app provides, like rules and away mode. It appears in the app that rules allow you to set timers for the plugs turn on and off on schedule and away mode will turn the plugs on and off at random intervals to mimic someone being home when you're not. So far just using them as voice-activated switched outlets is pretty good. Just wish that all were seamless to set-up and get going. Overall they are not bad, could be better with setting them up and this is because of one out of three that gave me trouble.

As a young child my grandfather had their home set up with automation. This was 26-33 years ago so at the time it was really in-depth and difficult to pull off. However, I have the power that he had in the form of a 3 pack of Wemo WiFi smart plugs! Packaging: Packaging was nice. Not too much excessive plastic or cardboard. They included a card with the QR code for each Wemo WiFi Smart Plug so that was cool and easy to access. The packaging isn't overly basic but it is not overly crisp either. I rate it an A WiFi Smart Plug Design: This looks like the wall outlet night light things that I had purchased from Amazon. They took 1 outlet, split it to two but also had a built in LED that would turn on when the room was dark. I currently have that in my bathroom-but I digress. This looks similar-compact, white, really inconspicuous. I love how sleek they look. While they included the QR code on a card in the packaging there is also one on the WiFi Smart Plug as well. Launch the App, scan the code & you're good to go (there is a "good to know" listed below though to be mindful of). I rate the plug itself an A+ Setup & A Good To Know: Setup was pretty straight forward & easy. Create an account, log in, scan the QR code...and fail. Weird. Let me try that again...again fail. Ah, I am on the 5ghz band of the router on my iPhone 11 Pro Max & this plug is probably on the 2.4ghz band. Easy fix. I jumped on the 2.4ghz band and away I went. I told the app what room the plug was in & set up a schedule for it to turn on the lamp when I return for work & to turn off the lamp when I leave for work during the week (Monday-Thursday) but then to turn it on at night on the weekends in case I am not home. More on the app below. So again, the good to know is this: ensure your device you are using for setup is on the 2.4ghz band with the Wemo WiFi Smart Plug and you're good to go...it will not work if your device is on the 5ghz band. If you have a mesh network you might run in to issues. I do not have a mesh capable router so I can't give that a try. What would the fix be? I believe it would be: a) turn off mesh on your router & if possible rename the 5ghz band to a different name. Once setup is complete then renable mesh (using the network name of the 2.4ghz band) & rename the 5ghz band back to what it was so you will auto-join that mesh again; or b) if you are doing your own kind of mesh via naming both the same then just change the name of the 5ghz to something-5ghz so you can ensure you are connected to the 2.4ghz band. Again, once setup is complete you'll need to setup everything how it was when it was on mesh. Again, thinking through the issue logically this is probably the best solution. Setup is super easy but I rate it an A- because of the small hiccup with the 2.4ghz vs 5ghz not being easily accessible information. The App: The iOS app has I think a 4 star review currently. Not too sure as to why it is not 5 stars. It does everything I want. Only thing I can think of is that the WiFi Smart Plug is only 2.4ghz capable (longer range & also a cheaper chip to include vs. doing a 5ghz band chip); so maybe that is why? I mentioned my little hiccup with that above in the Setup & A Good To Know section. As I mentioned above I had set up a schedule. While I was home this weekend and not out of town I realized the room was darker than normal & it was because it was running on the schedule I had set. So I loaded up the app and turned on the plug. Super easy. There is even a push button on the plug to turn it on if you don't want to launch the app on your phone-but come on, this is why there is an app :) I rate the app an A or 5* whichever you prefer. Why not an A+? The only change I'd make to the app is including a notice that your phone needs to be on the exact network that the device will be on & even state "This Wemo WiFi Smart Plug operations on the 2.4ghz band. Please ensure your device on the plug are on the same band". Conclusion: Clean looking device, clean looking app UI, easy setup of schedules-I am in love with these and will be buying lots to set up home automation at my home as well as my family members' homes! Definitely a solid A+ product...absolutely a 5*!

Very simple to set up and use. Took me maybe 10 minutes to have all 3 of my new WEMO outlets set up. The app found each plug quickly as I paired them one by one to my phone. I set one to a fan and another to an air freshener that I can just turn on and off as desired. The app interface clearly shows what plugs are currently on and which are off. The 3rd I set to a light and used the timer feature. All in all these were very easy to set up and work as expected. The app is fairly basic, but also easy to navigate. I don’t have any sort of voice command option so I can’t test that out, but everything else is spot on. I would definitely recommend these to a friend.

Work very well as described. Setup is very quick and simple using the Wemo app - just plug them in, scan their code and let it work. App is very simple and intuitive to use. Control each plug individually or setup schedules to do it completely automated. I love these - I have 3 on the same schedule that turn on lamps throughout my house at dusk and them shuts them all off about 3 hours later once everyone is asleep. Also great to be able to turn lights off early using the app rather than wandering around the house to do it. Range seems quite good, my home is about 5,000 sqft and these work great at all corners throughout.

I was surprised at how small these smart plugs were in comparison to older Wemo plugs that I have. They look to be great quality and well designed. Set up was much easier in the past using QR code vs the old wifi detection. So far have had no loss of wifi reception, and everything has been smooth. After set up I found their reception to wifi to be much better, and the operation through the app much smoother, Definitely, an improvement. Am very pleased with the new design and improvements,

Pack comes with 3 plugs, very easy to setup but only thing is if your iPhone has old iOS you need to upgrade to latest to make it work. Response is fast, if you click it turns the plug on quick which is good this can be used for the things which we want to control from remote places.

These are designed to work with Apple Homekit out of the box. After 1.5 hours on the phone with support we got this working without the Homekit. You would think you plug it in and your home network finds it, but not exactly. Jump through a few hoops with a very patient customer support tech and then the device will be working. Would have preferred better included instructions so I could have done this without support. Their support is available 24/7 which is nice. Here is the support page https://www.wemo.com/support/

To be clear, these smart plugs are basically switches. They plug in as normal and then whatever you plug in can be controlled remotely through the app or by voice through Alexa or Google Assistant. The set up was a little difficult at first but once I got the hang of the APP it was pretty seamless. I also had to do a firmware update which went through with no problems. I used these smart plugs on lamps in my bedroom and I have no complaints. These are also pretty affordable for a "smart" product. Overall, they work great!

I've owned now the 1st gen light switch, the 1st gen dimmer switch, an Insight plug, several 1st and 2nd gen wifi plugs, and now these. I have had the Insignia Homekit plug, and a few other off brands but I've never been as happy with those as with Wemo's line. I am quite impressed with these. These are smaller than the last (2nd) gen plugs (same thickness, but slimmer width) and work just as well. They turn on/off instantly. Setup was also a breeze through the Wemo app, which simultaneously added them to Homekit, where I prefer to use them. I purchased these so I could move my Insight plug to the garage to monitor my BEV car's electrical use (yes I need to get a 220v installed, but for now monitoring the 110v is fine) while charging and I have zero regrets. I now use one of these plugs with an old physical-button-on/off coffee maker and a homekit automation through Siri Shortcuts so when my wakeup alarm is stopped the coffee turns on. Turned a $10 coffee maker and a $17 plug into a smart coffee automation, and I have yet to not have my coffee ready when I get downstairs. 5 stars!!

These are my first set of smart plugs. So far I am very pleased with them. The setup was very easy with the wemo app. They are very responsive with the Wemo app and your favorite voice assitant. I use these to help with devices that don't need to be on all the time or i forget to turn off. You can put them on a timer. Also use them for my lighting in my room as well. They are perfect for simple and easy home automation.

Been looking for smart plugs for HomeKit, these plugs work great, I was able to pair them directly in the home app (no need to download the Wemo app). They look pretty nice too and have the high quality Wemo feel to them. I use one of them for a desk lamp in my daughters bedroom where there's limited wifi coverage, the plug had no issues with connectivity. The second I use for powered speakers in my garage and the third one turns on a lamp if someone opens my backyard door (using home app automation from my HomeKit Level lock).

The product does what it is supposed to do and is just fine. And that's it, hence 3 stars... fine... nothing more, nothing less. Comes with 3 wemo plugs of course. They are wide and not long, which is why they would not block the other outlet on your wall outlet plate. Reset button on the side. And labeled with the QR and number code if you toss your box before setup. Setup was super easy and quick. They work but not with my rotating fan. I neither recommend nor don't recommend. If it is your thing, buy it. The product in and of itself is fine.

I absolutely love that these come with an app with the ability to set up schedules and run directly through your phone. I enjoy that I can set lights on or turn them on and off when I'm not home; it gives me a better sense of security for sure.

Worth it on sale. Small. Works directly within home app. No issues. Has on off button directly as well

I already had a remote controlled outlet I purchased some time ago, but this is just as amazing with the addition of a user friendly and actually friendly app. It's great for the bedroom or any room for that matter.
