    As good as the original , but not better. Recomend you see them both, both are excellent musicals.

    Didn't go in expecting much. Remaking a classic like this is rarely a good idea. But it was well done.

    Good special features but the movie itself is overrated. Better than the original but Never was a WSS fan, just a Spielberg completist.

    Disappointing movie as it is not clear what vision Spielberg had for it. Straight re-make of the 1961 classic, or an edgy, violent mélange of fantastic song and dance numbers awkwardly interspersed with a gritty urban dystopia? Good acting and choreography for sure, but ultimately unsatisfactory. Not one of Spielberg’s best.
