Needless to say, this TV is excellent, the picture quality is awesome, the sound is very good and loud, with a perfect size for any room. This is actually a really good TV. The picture quality is really good. Speakers are poor, but that's pretty normal for TVs today. You'll want a soundbar with this TV. Cable, Computer and Apple TV all connected at once with the 3 HDMI ports. Very convenient. It even has optical audio port for soundbar. This is my second Westinghouse TV and I'm still not disappointed.

Great picture, easy to set up, great price. This was an easy purchase. We used it for adding PC monitor capabilities to a home office as well as using it to watch video, etc.

The picture is clear, the sound is Ok, but the price was right for only $160 on sale. Very good deal for the price.

Good size TV to fit on in my living space. Fits nice and perfectly on a wall mount too. It's not very heavy, which is good too. If you're into the small details of things, it does take about 7-8 seconds to switch HDMI inputs, which is kinda long considering I'm used to about 3-5 seconds, tops. It's kind of bulky at the bottom too. Overall, as I said in title, good TV for the price.

Living in a heavy tourist area, I have frequent visitors, and needed a replacement TV for my guest room. After reading the reviews I opted for the 40" Westinghouse LED. I was pleasantly surprised and often find my teen NOW in the guest room watching TV because it's 'better' than hers. I did not give it 5 stars because it did not have the option of a wifi connection to watch Netflix or Hulu. But overall, it's a great TV for a guest bedroom, garage or patio.

Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. My wife uses this in our living room and she enjoys it. The picture is clear and the Tv has a weight that I would expect in a Tv this size. The only thing is the sound is not the best, as this unit has no surround system hooked to it, so I can notice a tinny output from the speakers. The unimpressive sound might be typical for Tv's that don't have a surround system attached, but I do notice it.

This is a great bedroom tv. Size and price make it so. It's 1080p which I wanted and has a decent picture

I am a 22 year old female who has never owned a television before this purchase. While I would not consider myself well-versed in what a good vs. a bad television is, I have no complaints about the set. It was delivered undamaged and I have not noticed the complications that some seemed to have complain about - poor pixelation or poor sound. I made sure to thoroughly review the online ratings for this particular television on BestBuy.com as well as other sites to see what how people have assessed it. With that being said, I DID purchase the GeekSquad coverage plan for the television. Since I got it on sale on BestBuy.com, it was cheap as is, so I figured I would spent the extra $20 on a two-year plan in case the problems that so many have discussed here and on other sites happened to me. But again, I have had it for a few weeks now and I haven't had any issues. I have noticed that the sound gets INCREDIBLY loud during loud parts of movies or TV shows, and very quiet during regular speaking. That's kind of a bummer but I am genuinely unsure if it is because of my laptop when I plug it into the TV via HDMI cable or if it's because of the TV set itself.

No damage on box and had enough packing to prevent damage. Opened and setup no problem. When it was powered up the bottom of the screen were color lines going in all sorts of directions like if someone had put a ice pick into it. Returned for an exchange with no further problems. Simple function HD TV with minimal inputs, for its purpose thats all that is needed. Used for Playstation, Netflex, and computer monitor and its all good.

I am staying at a corporate suite for 7 weeks and the living room tv was only 24", way too small. I looked at rent a center type options but they wanted $20 a week for a 32". Even Amazon did not have a good TV for less than $200 that would reach 40" Then Best Buy and Westinghouse came through. A 40" 1080p TV for $159. It has worked flawlessly displaying cable, roku and chromecast. Picture is pretty good and sharp, sound is a bit tinny. Overall a "best buy"

I wanted to upgrade after having one of those older TVs that my mom had gifted to me. I didn't want to let go of old faithful, but she insisted that she would provide me with an early birthday gift. I'm not tech savvy so I didn't need a smart tv. This tv has a nice sized screen and seems larger than the size advertised. Picture quality is great. Couldn't beat the price. For under $150 felt like Black Friday. I put it's predecessor in retirement proudly.

My television stopped working all of a sudden, so I took it to the shop and was told it was unrepairable. Found this Westinghouse online from Best Buy. A 40 inch led at this price point couldn't be beat. Ordered and had a problem getting it nearby, but picked it up at another location and couldn't be happier. 1080P, 3 HDMI ports, all other ports you would expect, picture quality not bad, sound is as expected. Another Awesome deal from Best Buy

This tv offers a great value at a reasonable price. Think, light weight, the colors are great. No need to spend a fortune on a more expensive tv.

The tv is cheap and easy to use for the money. Buy one.

I have had this Westinghouse tv for about 5 weeks and have had no issues at all. Impressed with the picture and number of inputs (3 hdmi). The only negative: audio could be better, larger speakers, more bass would be nice. I corrected this minor flaw with a sound bar. Overall, good set for the money. Would recommend!!

This television was easy to set up and has a really good picture! I thought it was a great deal and did not expect it to be so excellent.

I bought this TV for 130$ when the visa checkout deal was on. I initially only went for it as the TV was cheap I needed a second TV for my bedroom. I actually bought it from bestbuy.com without actually checking it out in the store but turns out that the picture/video quality is really good for the price. The sound can be so much better but you can live with it. Absolute value for money !
