Easy setup and install instructions very clear great picture

Good picture, basic function, not smart. Cheaply priced

I bought this TV because it was a great buy, $160, for a 40" 1080p that had very good reviews, overall. The picture is very good overall, but not great and more like a good 720p. It also features excellent connections, like 3 HDMI slots and numerous others. The good stops there. As noted in previous reviews, the sound quality is poor, fair only at very low volume, snap, crackle and pop distortion when it's turned up. And the sound quality does not improve if external, amplified speakers are used instead. Cheap feeling remote. But a major flaw is that the tuner and channel scan will not pick up certain ancillary channels, e.g. 7.1, 7.2, 8.1 and 11.1 (in my cable market). These are usually digital channels and I watch them alot, so that was the deal breaker for me, as BB technical assistance could not help with the problem. So I returned the TV, and exchanged it for a 39" 720p Insignia TV, which is excellent all the way around.

the image is sharp and clear, the color saturation is a little low, the speakers are Great (so much better than the panasonic i had before. and its got all the inputs i need on it (3hdmi, component, composite, coax, etc) and audio out lines. cannot beat the price

This TV is used outside under a patio cover so that we can watch football outside when the weather is nice. It has a great picture and holds up well to the humidity in southeast Louisiana. The low cost makes it easier to not worry about damage from the elements.

The tv we easy to set up and the picture is clear. The only problems that I have had are with the remote. I am not able to change the HDMI with the xfinity remote. I have to use the tv remote. Also, there are random times when the setup screen will display on the tv and I have to complete that operation before watching it again.

We bought 2 of these to use as a Menu, side by side. While they do the trick, I wish they had more options for the slide show feature. The box says you can run mjpeg, but we had trouble finding any program that would export to a mjpeg format (which I'm guessing is .avi, from web research) inside an .avi container, so we had to resort to a slide show. The slide show has only 1 setting, which lags on some transitions (which are random, occurring about every 6 seconds, and un-programable), and not on the same transition each time. The picture is great, but side by side, you can see a difference in brightness - each having identical settings. I didn't think it would be this hard just to show one image over a period of time.

The actual size of this TV was critical to me because I had a very tight fit in the location it was being installed. It does not have all the extras like internet ready, but the picture quality was good and the value great! I put this in my gym and for a location like that its terrific! I am glad Best Buys carried this!

This TV is a much better quality and size than I expected to find for the price. Good value!

Returned another tv for this one. Nice picture, plenty of inputs. Good bare bones tv.. You'll like it..

this tv is a great middle of the road tv. its features are basic. the picture is decent particularly for the price. the speaker are not the greatest, they will get loud, but quality of sound is not great. i suggest a soundbar for this tv. i am happy with this purchase and would certainly buy again.

I actually amazed at the picture on this tv. For $150 on sale at Best Buy you couldn't get a better tv at even double the price. The picture quality is not as good as the Sony xbr models but the tv has excellent quality picture for the price point. The only thing left is to see if the tv holds up.

This is a nice TV - good color, sound and picture. Is it top of the line perfect HD every blade of grass in detail? No, but it wasn't priced that way either. It suits my needs very well for the price. I can watch TV and movies (DVD attached) and other networks from my Roku and it looks great!

Value tv with decent picture and sound. Basically, what you are probably looking for at this price. We've had no issues with the unit up to this point. If you need more spec details from a review of a budget tv, I would suspect you need to look outside the budget priced televisions.

I needed something for the basement but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I couldn't be happier with my choice to buy the Westinghouse. The picture is great and is easy to see from different angles. I was concerned about the other reviews where people said the volume wasn't very loud but I don't have any problems like that. Thinking about a second one for the spare bedroom.
