So yeah, this movie owns and you should own if you cowards.

I am a big fan of movies that take place at Summer Camp. It is one of the ultimate cinematic settings. WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER takes place at Camp during the early 80's, although it was shot over 2 decades later. The movie captures the 80's time period very well with all the 80's style clothes and hairstyles, etc. This is a pretty funny movie with a great cast about life on camp during the last few days of the summer camping season.

Wet Hot American Summer is a strange, silly movie that you can not take seriously (that is a good thing). It's a good throwback to the 1980s and this movie was the start of a lot of big name actors careers. The Blu Ray when it's full price is a little pricey for this cult classic but on sale was for sure worth it. Had a blast with this movie.

Lots of fun going back in time to 2001, when this movie was made, and included several big-time stars to be, including Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks and others. The movie's setting is August 1981 on the last day of summer camp. Sit back, relax and enjoy the party.

Wet Hot American Summer is a "camp" movie in more ways than one! The blu ray was released just in time for the internet prequel series. It's one of those movies that is so bad it's good. Great all star cast does a great job with the sometimes ridiculous, but funny material.

hilarious movie; i must have been living under a rock because only found out about this movie a few years ago

This movie is stupid, but in a good way. It plays as a loving send-up of 80s screwball comedies. I especially enjoyed a series of jokes in the movie that could have been super offensive, but they instead turned the subject around to be rather heartwarming.

Saw this on TV and it looked funny. I tried watching it once and got bored, but I figured I'd try again with the better quality Blu-Ray. Certainly has a long list of comedic stars going for it.

This movie is hilarious. And couldn’t find it anywhere else. Best Buy had it on its website. Ordered it. Pick it up. And bam. Thank you Best Buy for making things easy. Best Buy does it again. Happy to have in my collection.

Jeez, this movie has everyone in it. It sure does look like they had a great time making it too. Really funny a lot, but some slow or tedious parts intermingled. Still a fun film.

An extraordinary cast. A lot of laughs. Definitley a movie for any child of the 80's or for anyone who spend time at summer camp!. Especially now that the new prequel is out.

This movie was great for the first 2/3 of it, then it gets kind of weird and I got a little lost with where they were trying to go. All in all, still a good movie though.

I love love love this movie, and th disc is more than sufficient in picture/audio quality, but it would've been nice to see more special features for this cult classic.

This movie is a good watch. With Netflix doing now Wet Hot American shows its a worth a watch for anyone that wants to watch the show. A good star studded cast.

Fantastic comedy! Holds up and feels timeless while still bringing you back to THAT time in your life. Great ensemble! Also, a big inspiration on my horror comedy series, "The Devil Tree". Look it up!

I love all comedy's and this one is right up there. The way the laughs and everything that leads up to the laughs will have u on the edge of your seat

WHAS is an insane movie that takes place in an insane universe. The absurdist humor might not be for all, but it hits more than it misses

So happy to see that Best Buy had this on blu-ray! The movie is a hysterical throwback to those 80s teen comedies. Very recommended and a perfectly timed release as Netflix is about to release a limited prequel series featuring the entire cast from the movie.

Good camp movie with many crazy characters who should be institutionalized in real life, but Hilarious in comedy
