This movie has all the good sports action you would expect in a football movie, but it also has a religious aspect which was heart warming as well. And it's a remarkable true story. Good actors also. What more can you ask for?

Love what the movie is teaching people--winning "X" number of games isn't the "be-all-end-all" of life. Growing up to be a responsible adult, being considerate of others and being the best person you can be is what God has for all of us.

This was a good, not great football story. The story itself has some good moments but I think it misses the point of how a great football team acted after the streak. How were they before the streak? Were they cocky, humble, etc. The story does jump a bit but it is a good watch for inspiration. The ending is awesome!

This is a great family film about overcoming adversity and the meaning of family. This film portrays the importance of family and team over any win streak. It also portrays that family and team can overcome any giant in the way.

I haven't viewed DVD's yet as they are Christmas presents for my two children. I would assume there will be no problems with the DVD's I purchased as I have had no issues with DVD's I have purchased from Best Buy in the past.

Love that it has family values prevalent within a popular high school sport team. Inspiring movie. Appealing, small town feel and a great group of actors as team members along with a good coach. Believable as true story

This movie is great and showcases not just athletic ability but character as well. The blu ray is excellent with stellar picture and sound. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to watch a sports movie.

My son loves sports stories, especially true stories. This movie was a great reminder that there is more to life than winning all the time, and your true character will show if you learn that lesson. Enjoy.

This movie was not what I expected from a football movie. It had a real plot and story with great character development. The actors did a great job. The action scenes were well done. A great family movie to watch.

One of those feel good type of movies, like Rudy or Remember the Titans. Awesome football movie. Really shows what disciplined team can do without alot of major league talent. Teaches commitment and work ethics.

I've always loved movies about football and the accomplishments of the high school and football players. This movies rates as one of the best. Recommended for all the football fans that love stories of football.

Great movie about a winning high school football that had to over come many hurddles after a long winning streak and then losing a game and their way. A true story that is worth watching and owning.

Sports are always a great way to convey inspiration. This movie goes through tragedy and loss on a micro and macro level with players and the team. It teaches good lessons that anyone can comprehend.

I must have for anyone who loves sports movies. Not the same storyline/result as one expects. Highly recommend. You could rent it first, but if you buy movies, you'll just be wasting the rental fee.

I really enjoyed this movie. It sends a nice message that it is not all about winning or your personal accomplishments. It had a very nice ending. I also enjoyed the feature on the real life coach.

Living the SF Bay Area, the De La Salle story depicted in this film is well known. I think the producers did a great job telling the story. The Blu-Ray is excellent (video/audio) and is recommended!

Although this movie was a combination Varsity Blues/Friday Night Lights, it is based on a true story. I think it was very good considering it has a bunch of unknown actors aside from Jim Caviezel.

Loved this movie! We watched this as a family and even my teenage girls liked it. It definitely is a thought provoking film and gets you to feel a variety of emotions. All of them good!

This movie is for the young and old, whether you're an actual athlete or a fan of the sport. The movie shows the importance of teamwork, character and integrity in order to accomplish a goal. It's not about failure but how you and your team turn that failure into success.

Beyond excellent movie, great for the whole family. there are not enough movies out there that actually have such a high moral standard to them. Must have for your video library.
