I wanted to replace my old standard size Over-the-range microwave with a low profile to make extra room between the stove and microwave. This is a perfect fit and looks great. It is a couple of inches deeper than my old microwave but it works. The controls are hidden but easy to use. It works great to heat up the food. It does show fingerprints (kids) since there is no handle to grab and open/close. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I would recommend this microwave who is looking to save some space.

Sleek & slim, does everything my big Kenmore did & just as well. I like that the start button defaults to 30 second increments or, alternatively, you can punch in the actual time needed on the panel inside the door. Also like that the door opens with the touch of a button, no yanking required. My only complaint is that the unit sticks out pretty far over the stove below; ladeling soup out of a tall stock pot gets tight, though still doable.

The stove delivery guy suggested this microwave for us, we switched our order to select this one and we love it. I thought the fact that it sticks out more would bother me but it really doesn't. We are very pleased. So far though, I don't see a pause button, but I've yet to go through all the instructions to see. A pause button would be nice but isn't a deal breaker for me. Nice unit. Excellent space saver!

Was a little worried on size and look but boy do I love my microwave. Everything fits. It’s the perfect size and so far fits and look amazing. Works great.

I ordered this microwave online. It picked it up at the Knoxville, TN store (60 miles away). When I unpacked the microwave, I noticed that it was not in a Whirlpool box, so it had obviously been returned by someone before I purchased it. After opening the generic box, I could see why. The right, back corner of the microwave was seriously dented. The whole top and back was warped because of it. It looked like something extremely heavy had been dropped on it. There is no possible way that someone re-boxed this thing without noticing this level of damage, yet it was sold to me as if it were brand new and undamaged. Best Buy customer service is horrible! I called the number given online for the Knoxville store. I spent quite a bit of time and multiple calls trying to convince artificial intelligence to let me speak to a human. When I finally got to speak to a human, I had to explain my situation to 3 different people and spend a multitude of time on hold. None of these individuals had any connection to the Knoxville location at all. I waited all this time only to be told that I could take it back to the Knoxville store, but my time was running out to do so. I continued to explain that I live 60 miles away, and that I am very busy. I also explained that after checking the website, it looks like it would take 2 months for me to get a replacement. The best they could do was to finally offer me a $50 gift card. Now I am stuck with a microwave that works, but the vibrations created by the dents causes it to sound like it to sound like a chainsaw. I feel that I have been taken advantage of. It would be great if someone that is actually from Best Buy would respond to this post, or someone from Whirlpool. Who knows? The microwave may have come from the manufacturer this way and was passed off on me. I'm sure this model of microwave is probably a good one. But quality is ruined when you have unprofessional, uncaring service. If you purchase anything from Best Buy, do yourself a favor...open it and inspect it before you leave the store.

Two years go we started replacing the kitchen appliances. First was the fridge and the dishwasher. Then we tried to replace the microwave with no luck. We even bought a nice Samsung unit that I installed my self. The problem is that the range and microwave are in a corner so when I tried to open the microwave door the edge of the door hit the wall. Boomer. Finally we found this Whirlpool microwave which fits perfectly and I can open the door with no problems. Now talking about the microwave features it’s a microwave. Heats my food like any other. The only con I think could be for some is that is tall enough to fit a 16 Oz coffee tumbler but not a turkey.

We love the look of the low profile. It’s only been a month, but works great so far. Easy to use, built in fan works great!

Pretty easy install, but not sure the template is right on. Noticed once cooking is finished the door button stops the warning beep, but if you manually open the door it keeps beeping. The glass dish has a triangle wheel that can get out of line easy. Whirlpool has some pretty bad reviews. Seems good so far. Noticed a small dent on the metal door out the box, seems alittle cheap.

Perfect size for over your stove when space is limited. So sleek and beautiful.

Out of the 4 matching black stainless Whirlpool kitchen appliances I purchased, this is my favorite of all! Low profile/sleek to fit in my small kitchen/cabinet space. It has freed up counter space in my small kitchen,( Hated giving up my Kenmore but, It was big) It also acts as my new hood with 2 brightness setting for the light & multiple fan speeds. It has gentle chimes & visual reminders “Welcome” & “Enjoy” when an item is finished. Multiple presets. It has modernized my kitchen!

Love this microwave. Sleek design and powerful. Updated technology gives a variety of options for programming. Very pleased!

The low profile microwave is being used for a kitchen renovation where the 11 inch height work greats. There is a circuit breaker box above the stove that e did not want to cover so this was a perfect solution. It is also nice to have a fan and a light.

My microwave stopped working on Thanksgiving Day. Saw this at Lowes they said they had 1 so I went to pick it up they didn’t have any and would not order one at customer service. Ordered at Best Buy picked up in a couple of days. Love this microwave!!

I was trying to find a sleek and modern range fan, but was about to give up when I saw this. I didn't even know they made these, and I am so glad I got one. Everyone that sees my kitchen is amazed by the look of the low profile microwave. It does stick out slightly more than a regular microwave, but it is unobtrusive. My favorite feature is the "touch to open" button. You just lightly tap the button and the door pops open, it's a really nice feature. The fan feature works well and have had no issues with overheating or anything of the sort. Installation was very easy.

Installed this ourselves and what a modern look this item brought to our kitchen. Replaced a vent with this microwave with vent. Light included, llove the power levels.

It died within 8 months and whirlpool warranty is ridiculous to deal with to get someone out here. I am going on a month with a dead microwave that is 9 months. Best Buy Service Plan on it won't kick in until it is past manufacture warranty or I would have had this resolved already through them. By the way, my Whirlpool refrigerator, which is a 2019 model, condensor died the week before the microwave and all other appliances, non Whirlpool working just fine so no mechanical issues stemming from my electrical in case you are wondering and Best Buy installed the microwave for me, not refrigerator because it was here when I purchased my home about a year and a half ago. I replaced it with a Samsung when Best Buy gave me the choice between the same Whirlpool and the Samsung.

Very pleased with our new Whirlpool Low profile microwave. Attractive and functional. Looks great with our new Whirlpool stove. I just wished the outside indicators lit up.

Love it! Works great! Saves counter space. Great solution for large above cabinet if you dont want to disturb them and dual purpose with vent fan- looks great. Fun to watch ppl try to figure out how to use it lol next upgrade stove... already recommended to my mom she loves hers as well

We were skeptical about this microwave because of how far it sticks out (ours comes out 6” from the cabinet) but to our surprise it looks really good. It performs perfectly and allows for more space in our compact kitchen. No complaints.

I love this microwave! I had an issue with installing it, because I had tile already installed. But finally the second installer who came out, was able to install it without an issue! Highly recommend!
