Rusted , paint chipping from multiple places. Hazardous for health.

We bought this one because it fit in the cabinet. It gave good service for several years but started to develop rust at the inside left rear corner. Now the paint is showing signs of heat damage. Guess we'll have to replace it before it starts a fire.

The microwave works well and would have given it a higher rating if it didn't have a quality issue. When I removed my microwave from its box I noticed that the support ring for the plate was broken. I complained to Whirlpool and they sent me a replacement part. Now after one month the replacement ring has broken again.

This microwave is good for smaller spaces and basic microwave functions. When closing the door it is louder than some microwaves.

The product is fine. The post sale process was unnecessarily difficult. After getting emails and telephone messages from both Best Buy and the third-party installer that the product was on its way, I eventually learned that the product never left the warehouse in Orlando. Rescheduled. Happened again. Finally got product on third attempt.

Hope this one last longer than the one it is replacing. Same make and model. The last one did not last two years. Replaced it with the same model to keep from having to purchase the in the counter mounting frame.

This microwave is okay, not the best I've ever owned. Cooking is fine so far, easy to use and,program. Some things that I don't like are it's extremely light, by that I mean when you shut the door the whole unit moves back, I feel it could have a little more weight to it. Also the light is not on during cooking, it only comes on when the door is opened. I had a sharp microwave that the light only went on during cooking, makes a lot more sense. For the price I paid,it's a,decent appliance.

The aesthetics are pleasing, but it still operates and sounds like microwaves as they have always been made. I hoped by now that microwaves would be quieter, wouldn't take 1.5 sec to actually start the microwaves (you can tell by the sound as it ramps up), and the keys aren't actually touch, the keys are still buttons. The door is loud. You would think by now these wouldn't still have the same slamming door latches as the 90's models.

Unit works. Arrived damaged. The packaging was tore up and the case was bent on the corner and the base was bent in the same area.

The Good: Gets very hot very quickly; not very noisy. The not so good: There's apparently no sensing mechanism as to when something's done; there's no simple re-heat option; instead, the user must pre-pick a specific number of minutes. The plastic shield on top of the instrument panel begins to stretch and warp in the first few days. Finally, the user manual leaves a lot to be desired.

This is a nice looking stainless microwave, but the door does not have a handle, which I personally like. It shuts very loudly (especially at 5 a.m. while house is sleeping & I'm trying to heat my coffee up). It does have nice features and pre-programmed selections, for ease of use. I have a full kitchen of whirlpool appliances & this micro is only one, that has a white LED display, rather than blue (a small thing, but noticeable when placed close together in a small kitchen). Time will tell!!

Have been using my new microwave for a couple of weeks now and it's works well once we figured it out. Compared to our last microwave, this one seems to heat the outside a lot faster than the inside so that bowls and mugs are hot to the touch while the food or drink itself is merely warm. Took some getting use to and but working well so far.

Good size but the push button to open the door sticks and the machine runs loud.

Door hard to open, need 2 hands, 1 to open door, other to hold unit from sliding. Unit very light in weight. Extremely noisy when door closes. DOOR NEEDS HANDLE ! When in use it is extremely noisy, as if loose parts are vibrating. Buzzer is to loud. Very disappointed !

Bought this to replace the one that is broken. The microwave would turn on by itself when you open the door. I looked it up online and the door sensor needed to be replaced. It's too much of a hassle. So I bought the same model so I don't have to buy a frame for it. Hope it'll last longer than the one I replaced it with.

The microwave buttons are cheaply made and the options for cooking are not normal. There is no button that says start or clear. If you take out food early then later go to Cook something there’s no button to clear it so you can put new time. Very frustrating! It is a lot less noisy as my last microwave so that’s great. Looks good, but wouldn’t buy this model again.

We got it to match our other appliances. It works and looks great but the door opening button is not great and sticks at times. Seems like it could break after only a couple of months.
