Best performing microwave ever. Surprisingly very quiet too, Recommended for all kitchens!

We bought this microwave about one year ago and have used it daily. It works very well and it is quick. The power is high and heats up food items evenly. Only one minor issue is that it is slightly louder than we would like. Otherwise a great buy at a reasonable price.

Bought this for a friend as a housewarming gift and it is great. Fit perfect in her space, looks great, and has a lot of setting.

While labeled as a countertop, we used this microwave as as a part of an overhead built-in design. The original unit lasted more than a decade but the replacement was manufactured in China in Jan. 2019 and the control panel /membrane began having issues in 2021. The start button has now completely ceased to function in May, 2022. The cost to replace the control panel is half the cost of the microwave. I would not buy another one except for the fact it fits the built in space and trim - which is almost as expensive to replace as the microwave. Based upon the other reviews - this is a common manufacturing issue - but clearly one that Whirlpool is unwilling to address given the lower manufacturing costs in China.

We replaced an identical version of this microwave that broke. This one works so much better than the last one. The buttons are super responsive and it is quiet!

Perfect size for our countertop. Heats well, easy to use. Love that it is fingerprint resistant.

Its a good microwave. We haven't had to buy one in 20 years. We had a Whirlpool before and decided to go with the updated version of the one we had. We're happy with it.

Works great. Its large handles a dinner plate _ no problem.

Works as it should no issues since I purchased and installed it over a year ago.

Since this one is 1200 watts and my old one was 500, I've had to do some time adjustments. My only problem with it is I had to call the help line because there is no Start key as such. They showed me how I had to use the right facing arrow key above the 30 sec. spot. Other than that it probably has more options then I will ever use but that's Okay. Thank you for a nice product.

We needed to replace a built-in Kitchenaid microwave. We read that Whirlpool and Kitchenaid are made by the same company. So we went to the store and measured. Perfect fit for the Kitchenaid trim kit. The store did not have the color I wanted so I ordered it online. Delivery was quick and free. We love the microwave and have had no issues with it. We use it every day and like it better than our old one.

Works great right out of the box. Have had issues with this model before with the door latch sticking but this one is working just fine.

Needed to replace a built in Kitchenaid model which was no longer available. This one was able to fit and with the compatible trim kit, turned out ok.

Works as advertised, I bought this model because it could also be used as a build in microwave. However, it looks just like the microwaves that are cheaper. It's quite and efficient.

After 29 years of a former Whirlpool microwave our family was in for this one. We were extremely satisfied with the former one and wanted to show brand loyalty. We would only change or improve: 1. Open button which could be better quality as its a little "floppy". 2. Even when your food finishes and you open the door it will continue to beep for a few seconds which is also annoying. Other than these things it is a good looking microwave and we are hopefully for another 29 years of lazy cooking.
