Great microwave for the price! Looks much more expensive than the price paid. Works great and very easy to program.

my husband picked this one out. i must say he did a great job. it is very quiet, especially shutting the door at night! I also like the 30 second button, instead of 1 minute, and that the turntable is flush with the bottom of the microwave. the installer was very professional and did a great job. my only comment is that i think it took 5 to 7 days to come out to install, which would not have been bad if our old one wasn't broken.

We have not had it for a long time, but it does the job. Easy to install. Finish looks great. Had a small cosmetic defect, but BestBuy handled our complaint well.

I like it, heats really well, is bigger inside and has a bepper to remind you have something ready to come out. The bepper is not loud thats good. The defrost does not cook the food it defrost the way I like

Great little microwave, I read the reveiws of a lot of microwaves and bought this one. Easy install for anyone. Cooks great!!! I wish I had replaced the hood vent 8 years ago!!!

I've owned this microwave for just over two years. The first thing that drew me to this microwave was the stainless steel look, which matched the rest of our kitchen. A close second was the price point, which was perfect for what we were looking for. This model has some quirky features (or lack of features). Most microwaves these days allow you to press the number 1, 2, 3, etc., and the microwave will immediately start cooking for an equal number of minutes. For example, pressing 1 causes the unit to start cooking for one minute. However, this microwave does not have this feature. It does have an "Add 30 Seconds" button, which does just that. It's just annoying to press it 4 times to try to quickly add two minutes to the timer. The other strange thing about this model was the placement of the "Start" and "Stop/Cancel" buttons. The cancel button is above the start button, which felt wrong to me. It took several months of use to get used to the placement of the two buttons. I thought it was just me, but my wife agreed that the button placement should have been flipped. This microwave works very well. We cook rice in our microwave with a small rice cooking container, and it takes about 20 minutes. It makes the glass turn-table very hot (obviously), but it never causes any problems with the microwave running that long.

Easily installed into the space from the Microwave that had been there. Works great so far. I don't use a microwave a lot... basically for heating up passed meals, frozen veggies, water, defrosting items... so it meets all of my purposes and is a good size as well.

Thisi s a great microwave with only one fault. It hangs down closer to stove top than old over stove microwave with fan. Then again, at 2.3 cubic ft it is huge and can rotate even my biggest casserole. It gives great light to stove top which old one did not do very well.

I've had this microwave for two weeks now. Installing it took longer than I thought it would, but it looks and works great. The value is right for the price - compared with the price of other microwaves. It has all the features a person expects to find in a modern day microwave.

Had to replace my 18 year old whirlpool microwave that finally died, shopped around and this was is an excellent microwave at a relatively low price. My regular appliance dealer showed me similar microwaves at twice the price or inferior models at a similar price. My family uses a microwave VERY HEAVILY, so a good microwave is very important to us. I especially like the way it does popcorn, it asks you the ounces are in the popcorn bag, so it pops perfectly and much faster than my old microwave. I also like the one-touch "add 30 seconds" button. Best Buy delivered and installed it very quickly as well. My only complaint was that the installers didn't bring their own step stool and could have done a better job cleaning up. But they did install it well.

My husband and son had this microwave installed with ease. We did not do the external venting which may have taken longer. The features are nice and easy to use. The venting blows up instead of straight out which makes it much easier to clean. Nice size unit.

The microwave works great, my family is very happy with it. The microwave it replaced was flimsy and the door fell apart after some time. This unit is built well, the door is sturdy and should be able to stand up to my kids opening and closing it often. The only thing this microwave didnt come with is a rack inside. Other than that, the price was right, and it performs just fine.

Just the right size for making a quick meal. Like the turntable. Easy To operate.

Bought this microwave during the Presidents Day sale as a packaged bundle with other appliances. I didn't realize at time of purchase that this is a top or rear venting only microwave unit. That means for existing homes you would have to either punch a hole through your back wall or through your cabinets and install duct work that would go through your ceiling, then through your attic and eventually through your roof to vent. I was prepared to do all but the hole in the roof, however the instructions specifically state not to exhaust into an attic - external only. I'm sure the unit works great and would work great if I were to go to all that trouble of installing it. It would be great for new constructions as well where doing all that work would be easier. However, for my case, I'll be returning this one for a front venting microwave.

This microwave is quiet, heats evenly and was priced right.

If you attached the roof venting device, chances are you will have a difficult time getting it installed. Mine was crushed during the first attempt. I would like to say this was a design flaw but it may just as well have been on the "installer." My item came shipped with a crack in the front plastic which I (unfortunately) did not notice until I finally had it installed (for a second time after crushing the ceiling vent apparatus). So, I think the quality of packing (or warehousing) may have been lacking. Anyway, the function is great and it is a bargain.

Hope it lasts longer than the Whirlpool OTR it replaced. This one is nearly the same model as its predecessor. But, I don't think it heats as well. Aesthetically it looks better though.

Whirlpool no longer ships microwaves in cardboard boxes. Mine arrived with one corner crushed, but the bent sheet metal protected the styrofoam packaging quite nicely. Quality control in microwaves appears to be at an all-time low - my last Samsung lasted just under 3 years. In spite of the lousy packaging, I bought a larger Whirlpool microwave that was on sale. My other Whirlpool appliances are still hanging in after 15 years. Buy something over 1.8 cubic feet if you want a turntable that is larger than a paper plate...

I reviewed quite a few microwaves and I found this one by chance because it was actually display model. In the three weeks that I have this microwave it has been outstanding, the wattage is perfect, and the fan and light over the range work amazing. This microwave has all the standard features you come to expect from most microwaves and this device performs great. If you're looking for a great, fairly inexpensive, high-quality microwave this one would be the one to go.

My only commplaint is that you can not turn off the turntable as the description says that you can.
