Bought this not long ago and it works great! I have no complaints on it, does what it should by heating food, lol. I would recommend this microwave.

This unit is quiet, compared to the one it replaced. The controls are easy enough to figure out. It looks nice and it works. The turntable is a nice perk, and it's tall enough inside to accommodate most containers. The best thing, so far, is that installation was manageable by one person and the installation instructions were clearly explained.

My GE microwave died after 12 years. Consumer Reports recommended this Whirlpool microwave based on their testing so I decided to try it. The Best Buy purchase was easy and efficient and the microwave looked good. When I went to install the microwave I could not open the door. I found out that the hinges on the door open wider than 30" and my space is constrained with a left hand wall. Buyers need to beware that this is not a good product if you have a left hand wall. GE builds thier hinges so that the door does not open wider than the 30" space. I returned the microwave to Best Buy and again got great service. This weekend I installed a GE microwave without a problem.

But awkward to install. Otherwise the product perfectly suits my needs.

Overall, I was very pleased with my old Whirlpool microwave and wanted to replace it with the current model because of that. I was not disappointed and although it has changed a bit, it would of been easier if it would of fit on the same brackets so I could of set it up easier. However, it was no big deal to install if you have a handy husband or friend!

This microwave does everything I need, was easy to install, and not too expensive. Great purchase.

One reviewer states: "Very satisfied with the microwave. However the Best Buy Specs indicates that the turn table can be turned off. Talked to Whirlpool and they told me that this model does not have that feature." I wondered about this also, but discovered that the turntable can be "turned off" by lifting up the glass turntable plate and removing the plastic center gear.

We bought this as a replacement of the same one as we had for 1 1/2 years. Something happened to it, which could have been caused by inlaws using the wrong items in it. We like it and it is easy to use even for our boys.

So far, It is running good without any problems even bought it at lower price. Very happy and sartified to use it.

This product excels all my expectations. Vent fans and light features work well. Easy see icons.

I picked up the microwave at the Manchester NH store. I examined the external packaging, but due to how it was wrapped (shrink-wrap and some cardboard) I could not detect any internal damage. After transporting the appliance 100 miles to install in my vacation home, and after doing most of the installation work, it was pointed out that the unit was badly dented. The damage was highly visible. So my trip to install was a waste of time and money, and my efforts on the actual installation were wasted. I had to bring the unit back to NH, return it, pick up a new unit, make the trip over again, and re-do the installation process. I am not a happy customer.

Bought this because the price and reviews were good plus it was in the same line as my stove and dishwasher. Overall the microwave works well and seems to be built good by today’s standards. My only complaint with the microwave itself deal with minor appearance issues. The microwave is white and the under side, the vent area that ends up above the range is dark grey. I’m not sure why it isn’t white? Also, the digital display is blue. My matching stove is in green and my old counter top microwave is in green. My wife is kind of burnt that the readout isn’t green like the stove. My biggest issue is that the mounting instructions are incorrect. The picture and measurements for the back bracket are different than the one mine came with. The template given for mapping out the top holes is a joke, they are not right. You have to measure the distance and location of the holes microwave itself to get this right. You’ll see. Measure twice and drill once. I would have given this a higher review if the mounting instructions and templates were correct. Lucky I checked everything a few times before I drilled holes and mounted the bracket and microwave.

We are very pleased with this microwave. It is more powerful than our last over the range m.w. We did have to return the first one of these that we got because it was damaged in the packaging (dented). Try to check your purchase before leaving the store.

We got lucky and it fit into the brackets of our old microwave so it made it an extremely easy install. So far so good.

bought this microwave as part of an entire kitchen combo. Almost a year to the date the bottom part of the plastic handle broke off. I called and since it was still in warranty the company put me in touch with a local service vendor who replaced the entire door. This was in February 2012. In May, the handle on the new door broke at the EXACT same place. Now Whirlpool won't help, won't meet me in the middle -nothing. I should have listened when I called for the first repair and the customer service agent told me I would be sorry if i didn't buy the extended warranty! So - if you buy this product definitely buy the extended warranty - you will need it.

Very good product, the materials are very good to lok and to touch.

So far so good. I installed the microwave a few weeks ago with no problems. So far it's been easy to clean, and easy to use

we wanted to get a microwave for over the stove but not spend too much, and this microwave is great, very easy to use and cooks well. only con is the light under isn't as bright as i would like but not really a big deal
