It looks slick. The popcorn option is complicated but once you know how to use it, it is so cool. We only had it for a month. The fan is good for getting rid of steam. It sucks out the steam and smell pretty well. It is a good buy. I need to review product after an year. To give you a more detail review.

I enjoy all the features available on this microwave oven. I have yet to find anything about it I don't like. Food heats evenly and there are many built in options for reheating or cooking food.

This is the third microwave we have owned and the first over the range version. The installation process did not take as long as I expected and for the most part was simple, but I am handy. So far we are extremely happy with the space savings and performance of this microwave.

Love this microwave! I considered buying a convection/microwave combination; but, after reading the excellent reviews for this microwave, I decided this would be a better purchase. A+

This microwave does what it says it will do. No false promises.

But the product and the installation/ repair service they use. 1st appt, they didn't show up until the next day. That's window #1 and # 2 having to be home for a 5 hr window. Less than a month after being installed the automatic fan came on and would not go off, and I wasn't even doing anything to set it off. #3 5 hr window of having to be home, service tech comes out and removes the fuse and puts it back in and the fan went off. First thing the next am, I opened the microwave door and put something in, but did not turn it on and a few minutes later, the fan is back on again. So #4 is another repair tech is coming out. If this doesn't fix it we're told another company has to come out and check it. So far I've wasted 20 hrs for a freaking microwave that should have been replaced already.

I replaced our counter top microwave with this over the range microwave. It was well worth the price and has all of the features as the old one. Shipping was on time and it was fairly easy to install.

Very nice microwave. Looks good and runs great. Nice touch button features.

i have no complaints about it. it looks great and works great and has many heating and reheating options that i've never had before

Nice stainless steel microwave for the price. All the features you need. Only potential drawback is a smaller turn-plate (standard). Not a problem in most cases.

This microwave looks great but it's just fair for my family. The popcorn sensor does not appear to work correctly. Most bags of popcorn come out with at least 1/4 to 1/3 unpopped kernels using the 3.5 oz selection. The clock also runs 3 minutes behind every day so I'm setting it daily to stay in sync with the stove top.

Overall, this is a great microwave for the price. It looks good and does a great job with the food. The only negative is that the exhaust fan is a little loud.

I went to my local Best Buy in Viera, FL, they didn't have any in stock so they had to order it which it came in 3 days later. That was fine because I was purchasing for my mother and had planned on installing on the weekend. I picked up the microwave it was packaged with plastic and styrofoam when the man loaded it into my car everything went fine and smooth. We took it to Davenport, FL to install when we pulled off all the styrofoam packing it was severely dented in multiple places but the dents were all on the portions that wouldn't be seen once installed so we were going to keep it anyway but the main problem was a big dent in the top back which pushed up the top right rear so it could not be installed flush to the upper cabinet. We called the 800 number and the lady was helpful she found another unit at the Davenport store so we packed it up to exchange it. That is when it went downhill. The unit that was at the store was already tagged for someone else. We had them look at the distribution center 2 miles away and they had 2 but they were also tagged for other people so they wouldn't let us have one. I tried to get different microwave but every one we had them check they did not have any in stock at the store or distribution center. The only way I could get one was from the Atlanta distribution center which would take 3 weeks. I was so frustrated at this point I had the lady refund my money and I went down the street to a home improvement store who had 9 in stock and bought it there.

I love it and it's everything I needed and at a GREAT price.

Whirlpool has just become a four-letter word. Exactly 15-days out of warranty, our 1163 series decides to fry the main control panel (Est. $75 trip charge / $98 part) Whirlpool customer service takes a hard-line and basically says "too bad, so sad". Prior to this, we owned their top of the line Gold microwave and, in four years, ate nearly $450 of repair bills. There will NOT be a third....

Love it. Big oven room for large items. Heat food really fast

This appears to be an epidemic with whirpool microwaves and bad magnetrons. Bought this microwave in March of 2010, stopped working in Dec of 2011. My last GE micrwave lasted 9 years, the magnetron went bad, and GE sent me a new one at no charge. Whirlpool does not appear to have this gaurantee. I called Whirpool, they did not even offer to help with anything.

No complaints!...It was easy to install, and I started using it immediately. I haven't had any problems.

We just bought this microwave because of its nice looks. There's a blemish (fold in stainless steel trim) on the front fascia right out of the box. As the box was not damaged, it must have come from the factory like that. You guessed it!... Whirlpool wants to send a tech out to fix it Mon-Fri 9-5 even though it would be easier to just send me the clip on part. How convenient for me!
