Was pleased with most aspects of this microwave except the exhaust fan. Repairman was unable to fix, he said that's the design. I have fan vented to room but it pulls very little steam from range. I believe this is a design flaw that should be redesigned

I can't tell you if the microwave works. We got it home and it was damaged. When we called to see if there were more in stock, we spoke to 3 different people before we found out that the damaged one we received was the last one. Go figure. When we tried to return it, we were told they couldn't process the credit since we bought it yesterday and it takes 24 hours to process. Really?? In this instant digital age. Epic fail. And to think up until today I bought all appliances, televisions, phones, etc. from Best Buy. No more.

Bought a Whirlpool microwave in Sept 2009, within 2 months it stopped working. Would not heat/cook. Whirlpool sent out a technician, who fixed the problem. Then 2 months later same thing happened, again sent out a tech to fix the problem, same issue/same part. Now is the fourth time the microwave has stopped working with the same issue. Whirlpool refuses to replace the unit. They will only continue to send out a technician to fix the same problem over and over again, at least until the warranty runs out.

I would give it zero stars if I could. It stopped working after 7 months. Our other microwave lasted 12 years. Other reviews I have read on many other websites (Lowe's, Amazon, etc.) don't give me much hope that the problem will be resolved successfully. Spare yourself this headache and by another brand!

Microwave is a piece of junk, stopped working conveniently a month after the warranty expired. Went back to using my Ten year microwave which I luckily did not throw away, will not buy another whirlpool again.

same problem as doa very had to get whirlpool customer service is on phone what do they expect you to use while you wait for boad bought it to use not look at my first and last whirlpool purchase

Bought this brand new and it was dead. Needs a new controller board - 2 week wait. Save your money.
